New thread that has come about as a result of discussion around the shameless behaviour of this pair. Info regarding their relationship is discussed through the first 4 threads for Helen Skelton. It has reached a point that we don’t want Helen to be associated through her thread with the desperation of Dimwit and Zippy because she is flourishing in her career and embracing parenting her three children.
Whilst married to Helen (since 2013), Richie enjoyed a career
as Helens plus one as a rugby league player, and in 2017 he joined Leeds Rhinos Rugby League team. At this time he and Helen shared two sons, and Helen went on to give birth to their daughter EK Myler in December 2021. In April 2022, Helen released a shock statement revealing that she and Richie had split after almost 9 years of marriage, and that he had left the family home. The children were aged 6, 4 and 4 months at that time.
Rumours emerged very quickly after Helens statement was released that Richie was already in a relationship with Stephanie Thirkill, the daughter of millionaire businessman Andrew Thirkill who happens to be the President of the Leeds Rhinos team where Richie has played since 2017.
Not a celebrity in her own right, Stephanie whose business was apparently related to preloved
husbands things, was simply ‘well known’ locally for less desirable reasons - mainly her keen attendance at any Leeds Rhinos events. Stephanie was also reportedly single, having married in 2018 and mysteriously separatad an unknown time. This led to quick widespread suspicion that the pair were already in a relationship of sorts, and this was likely to have overlapped Richie’s marriage to Helen. The pair have always denied this. Still, no one could understand what would make Richie leave his wife and 3 children so suddenly, nor what he saw in Stephanie
whose father is worth a reported £175 million.
The ‘Zipwits’ were first outed by the press as ‘dating’ on May 3rd 2022 in the Mail Online - 4 months after the birth of Richie and Helen’s daughter, and
one week after Helen’s separation revelation.
The Sun also reported in early May 2022 that Helen had become suspicious of Richie’s behaviour and had hired a private investigator which had uncovered his extra marital affair with Thirkill - this has never been confirmed.
It then was revealed days later that back in September 2021, Richie and Helen were photographed at an event for the rugby club (that they attended as a married couple) which was also attended by Stephanie - in fact, Stephanie had reportedly approached the couple and asked for a photo with them. At this time, Helen was six months pregnant and reportedly had left the event early due to this, which is suspected to be when Thirkill swooped in on Helens husband.
An article in The Sun on May 9th 2022 showed the Zipwits as they were papped on a brazen ‘romantic stroll’ together in their local area - despite the news of their possible affair breaking only 2 days earlier and literally 2 weeks after helen had announced the marital split on social media. (This article has curiously been removed from the web link though tattle has receipts.) This pap-walk was utterly shameless, spiteful, and thoughtless to all parties involved in the split, and in addition it created immediate speculation that Stephanie may have been visibly pregnant at that time.
On July 10th 2022 a picture was posted to Richie’s (then public) Instagram page showing the pair openly posing as a couple at Wimbledon with their arms around each other - notably Richie ended up limiting the comments on this post. This clearly didn’t make him think at all, as a further photo of them was posted/reposted by them both on the river near Harrogate a week later, undeniably posing as a couple.
On July 26th 2022, Richie posted a further photo on Instagram of the pair in Cornwall, arms around each other with the caption ‘Cornwall was worth a 32 year wait
’ - less than 3 months since helen had announced their separation. The press immediately picked up on the comment actually being a dig at helen and public comments on the online articles were in uproar at their basic lack of humility and decency shown - their pattern of behaviour had begun.
Helen remained strong and silent, showing photos of work events or time with her children. She was then announced in August 2022 as a contestant in the upcoming series of Strictly Come Dancing - setting in motion what proved to be the most spectacular revenge f*** you, and she was paired with the gorgeous Gorka by no mistake.
The Zipwits flailed around after this announcement, continuing to shamelessly post photos on social media accounts which they randomly changed between public and private view. They apparently were then only able to communicate their LOVE for each other via Instagram posts or stories as if you live with someone 24/7 you can only keep it real with ‘LOVE YOU’ or
on every post right….?
Myler hit his real low point in human decency when -
on the night of Helen’s Strictly launch show - he posted an end of season photo of him and Stephanie alongside her parents and brother following the final game of the season, with the caption
‘Finished this season as a family ’.
Of note, he had not managed to show any ‘public’ declaration of love to his actual family, namely the young children left at home wondering where daddy had gone - we can only hope that he for some reason couldn’t post them - perhaps requiring Helen’s consent before the divorce was finalised. We tried to hope anyway, for the sake of those three children.
Helen embraced the challenge of strictly with nothing less than a huge smile but later admitted that she had tried to escape down a fire escape moments before her first live performance. A week later, on October 12 2022, The Sun announced what tattle had known from sources local to the Zipwits that Stephanie was indeed pregnant with Richie’s baby - a whole 5 months after the separation was announced.
A screenshot was posted to tattle on October 13th 2022 (initial conversation/context not known) which apparently shows someone private messaging from Stephanie’s business insta account referring to Helen as a ‘horrible person who sells stories for publicity’ in response to criticism regarding their antics. We assume she meant a different Helen.
Days after the pregnancy announcement, whilst live on Strictly, Gorka referred to helen having been made to feel like she is ‘not good enough’ and that she needs to believe in herself like he believes in her in order to achieve her strictly potential. Helen was visibly emotional but did not respond otherwise to this. (Just to note, Gorka managed to dance in incredibly intimate positions with Helen over the course of strictly but
didn’t feel the need to cheat on his partner, who in turn has become close friends with Helen. Women supporting women hey?!)
Due to Helen’s overwhelming public support on strictly whilst looking
and with the disgust at their announcement, the Zipwits panicked and PR companies were suspected to have been called in. An article in the Daily Mirror on October 15th asked
ironically for people to be kind and ‘stop judging’ the ‘pregnant Girlfriend of Helen Skeltons ex’. The article claimed ‘a friend’ confirmed Stephanie was ‘just’ 12 weeks pregnant at this time and therefore
couldn’t possibly be ‘some sort of marriage wrecker’ - this was a retaliation to rumours she fell pregnant in April 2022 ie before Myler left the family home. Other quotes not worth repeating describe the Zipwits ‘instant chemistry’
(autumn 2021??), that it was natural to want a baby at her age
and what a ‘great dad’ Myler is/will be
. The following day the pair did a shameless pap walk (bump hidden) with the dog, the
paid article emphasising that the pair were ‘all smiles’.
Alas, money cannot buy empathy, and the comments in the online media as well as on Facebook continued to shame the Zipwits for their behaviour leading to this. However, over on ‘NaStY’ tattle many felt that, despite their behaviour, the unborn baby was yet more collateral damage in the situation and called for Stephanie’s wishes to be respected during her pregnancy. In fact, over time tattle began to pity her for settling with the seemingly rather vacant and prematurely aged Myler.
Strictly outfits got tighter, the performances got hotter and Helen breezed through each week having a visible positive transformation on screen. Her memorable Charleston showed a genuine smile and glow, and it seemed that Helen was rapidly realising that life was ‘better without him’ - IYKYK. Meanwhile the Zipwits must have found a way to say ‘LOVE YOU’ in a non public platform as their SM accounts locked down and finally the ‘one-upmanship’ attempts relented.
Approaching the strictly final, helen showed her struggle with emotions for the first time, crying on the VT whilst talking with Gorka - but never mentioning any details, no mud slinging, no direct blame, no dirty linen. This clearly struck a nerve (whilst he also watched secretly on YouTube) as Myler once again forgot how to communicate with Stephanie privately, wishing her ‘happy birthday bub
’ on his Instagram a couple of days later. He also thanked Stephanie for ‘being her’ - it sounds easy to be her considering the lifestyle but actually, no, I’d rather be Holly Willoughbys PR team today than spend my life trusting him.
The Strictly final arrived with Helen deservedly there, and she completed the series with a ‘f*** you 40’. She was pipped to the post for the glitterball in the end, but unconfirmed reports from the BBC suggest that there was a stream of incessant votes for the winning contestant, all of which originated from the Harrogate area. Headlines all sang for Helen the following day and she was/is firmly set in the hearts of the watching public who witnessed her unbelievable grit and dignified retaliation to the worst humiliation imaginable. As a side note, not one bit of negative press emerged about helen throughout the strictly journey, and she might have even had a hearty serving of an Italian to finish off her time there.
Baby Skelton-Myler turned 1, acknowledged by Helen. Meanwhile the Zipwits continued to stay quiet.. did they stop trying to use the media to hurt helen? Of course not. They just needed to lock down the *actual* due/delivery date of Baby Thirkill Myler to maintain their narrative. So Myler went out to graft for the old inheritance, and Stephanie made sure he remembered she’s waiting at home for him by commenting under everything he posts on social media.
The pregnancy photo shoot we saw coming 6 months ahead arrived in March 2023 and did not disappoint, as Stephanie held on Richie with both hands whilst he had his eyes tightly closed. The photo was coincidentally posted by daddy 2 days after unconfirmed (but funny) rumours about helen getting a jive on with a strictly pro.
31st March 2023 - 11 months and 3 days after helen announced her split from Richie, it was announced that Myler would miss the game for Leeds Rhinos because Helen Skeltons ex’s girlfriend had given birth. Baby girl OL Myler arrived safely in to the world, bless her. The actual date of birth hasn’t been confirmed as far as I’m aware, there are plenty of suspicions around the actual truth despite their narrative. After all, daddy is the President presumably signing the statement off.
Predictably, since the new arrival the PR wheels are flying. The pair have shown their newborn photo shoot, Richie has remembered the other children and made sure we knew it by posting it on Instagram, and they had a trip to Buckingham Palace in relation to the DoE awards, where Stephanie sported a camouflage dress in hope that she could sneak some moves in on the DoE himself - he is married after all

I wish little Baby OLM the very best, and look forward to seeing how their story will unfold but I’m just here to learn from Helen’s strength for my own well-being. The threads will inevitably run parallel when the Zipwits come up with the next genius idea to gain sympathy.

-posters on Helen’s thread noticed that DM articles regarding helen were overall very positive except for one or two comments or snide replies to other positive comments. It was then noted that a poster who is apparently ‘asgoodasitgets’ devoted their DM account to only comment negatively about helen in various stories since the split, implying things such as helen running the affair story for her own PR. Another couple of recurrent user names devoted to tearing down helen were also noted by tattle, these ones suggested helen was ‘hell’ to live with among other spiteful slurs. There were also a few rogue posters in tattle who eventually read the room over in Helen’s earlier threads. Strangely, when tattle users commented on DM posters who only targeted helen, they didn’t post any more to my knowledge
Lots mentioned re well known similar ‘form’ from them both before they met their match in each other - apparently also well known on Facebook. Not something I am aware of so other posters can update this area.
Stephanie’s first husband, affectionately known as Rich the First here on tattle has been suspiciously missing throughout. Tattle reward if found.
