Ah Jesus, what do you want her to do?! Sit at home crying. You have to try and get back into some normality, the longer you lock yourself away the harder it will be. I wouldn't be grudge a young widow a few hours out of the house to try and live a little like.

Ive honestly no interest in saying anything tbh, the poor family. And in all honesty god help Niamh, shes lost her husband, very young. Regardless of her behaviour I think it's no harm reminding ourselves she is human and no doubt this is an absolutely devastating time. Id suggest its no harm close the thread to be honest.

I lost my baby boy three years ago, within 4 days I was booked into a five star hotel with my partner. I spent that month out every weekend. anything to distract.

I went on multiple holidays in the months after. but behind it I was drinking way too much and miserable.

it's not for anyone to judge how someone grieves.

She bugs a lot of us at times but from in the grand scheme she’s very harmless. I don’t know how she’ll navigate the months and years ahead. Christmas, new years, valentines, birthdays and that. Like 13 months ago they were excited for the biggest stage in their life, their wedding. Fast forward one year and she’s going to visit him at his grave. Like you cannot be anything but extremely sad for her. So young and untimely death I can’t stop thinking about them

I am genuinely shook to my core that he passed away. I really didn’t think he was terminal probably because I’ve been watching her out and about so much seemingly care free I assumed he was recovering.
I know we all grieve in different ways but if my husband was terminal I would have been glued to his side day and night.
I followed Rachel Gorry on the months before her husband died and I had to unfollow because her pain was too much for me to take on I use to cry every time watching her. I didn’t get that from Niamh so I’m floored.
Does anyone know if they knew he was going to die so soon? Surely not?
It wasn’t terminal, he was getting better and at home and then just had a bad cognitive episode and that’s how they found out it was in his brain and he died within the week, she thought he was ok - also, maybe socialising is her therapy. Just remember what we see is five minutes from somebodies day, she may have been with him for the entire day before hand of went to dinner for an hour. We don’t know

If her wedding was anything to go by I can see why his family hosted the wake at their house. Imagine leaving Niamh responsible for the wake. She would probably have strobe lights turn it into a weekend long session and have him wrapped in a boa with glow sticks sticking out of the coffin
Jesus, think about what you’re saying and posting about a young, grieving window. I’m not even a fan of Niamh but this is outrageous stuff.

If you happen to read here and be a Niamh follower, please remember that it’s completely crossing the line to post on rip.ie. It’s not fair on his family and even Niamh herself.

If you’re a follower, and don’t know them at all, leave a comment on her page or DM.

I’m sick to see these weird comments are still flooding his condolence page!!!!

Some fruitcakes on here. I hope she will be okay after this..they seemed like a lovely happy couple. Ive followed niamh since she was a cocoa brown ambassador. From her first house/relationship going tits up, then looking a bit lost for a few years, then met jamie. He seemed like a totally lovely guy, settled her. Shes spoke about the past few years being heavy on her with that lawsuit & the mental health effect it did to her. Then the day after she gets married, he got sick?? Shes a stronger girl than me.

🥺💔 Life is cruel. No words. Devastated for his family. He deserved more from life.

I’m not but I think the carry on of her sick and all for her own benefit
In the most respectful way possible, I think you need to lay off a bit. I know this is tattle but you are constantly posting, often multiple posts in a row, calling her “vile” and “sick” without any justification. You may not agree with how she’s handling her grief and that’s fine. But calling her “vile” and “sick” is a bit of a reach. I think you’ve made it pretty clear how you feel about her, I don’t think there’s any need to keep posting variations of the same thing. Fair enough if she does something new and you feel the need to comment on it, but you’re just posting the same things over and over, without anything new to comment on.

Jesus for fuck sake nobody knows what to do in these situations...at the end of the day she needs to survive and get on with life.i don't think anyone should be judging in this situation, most of us know whow we would react...and shouldn't we all be so grateful we don't. Let's just be a little kinder here

I know a widower he is now in his 40s, whose wife, may she rest in peace, I knew through a friend. She passed away 3 years ago after a long battle with cancer, barely 35 years old. It was heartbreaking. Three kids all under 7 years.

But throughout her illness, he was everything a husband should be. He took time off work, rarely left her side, and was completely devoted to both her and their three children. He still is an incredible father.

About a year after she passed, he met someone new. She has children too, and together they have blended their families. Originally I thought a year was too soon, but then I realised his wife had been ill for years, and he had already lived through so much anticipatory grief while caring for her. She was the kindest girl I ever met and would want him to be happy.

BUT I really respect how they handled dating. They kept their relationship very private, stayed off social media, and quietly built a relationship before letting others in.

There was no disrespect to his late wife, her family and friends, no rushing to replace her, he just happened to meet someone, nothing was shoved in people's faces.Just two adults finding happiness after heartbreak.

Niamh however partied throughout his short illness, goes around with her tits out, calls herself a hoochie widow and talks about moving on and he is only gone 6 months. It's disgusting.

Sorry this is long but it's just to explain why her behaviour is inappropriate. It's fine to move on whenever you feel ready but don't throw it out there while your deceased husbands family witness it along with the entire country. It's disrespectful to Jamie and his family and friends. Not to mention the pictures of his grave and sharing his private messages. It's disrespectful and disgusting.

We all grieve differently. If she is taking a few minutes to look at the tags on social from those close to her, seeing beautiful memories and words about Jamie, what is wrong with her resharing? It take literally seconds to press reshare & post. Maybe she wants to reshare how amazing he is and what people thought of him to all of her followers? let her bloody grieve in peace. Some people LOVE social media, some people are allergic. We all feel differently but those who love social media could get comfort from sharing how wonderful their loved one was in these dark times.

I thought about it I lost my nana last august she was like my mam she was everything to me I didn’t post for 1 year im
Still not over my nana… Niamh is social
Media mad two days after he’s past rings alarm bells to me
Losing your nana and losing your husband are two completely different things.
They were newly married and had just bought a house too. Imagine all those plans and dreams you’s had together and thinking you’s had it all to one of you been taken away over night.

after seeing it pop up on the news I felt sick. People this young shouldn’t have to die of cancer. Life is unbearably cruel. I don’t follow Niamh regularly but a bit shocked at some of the comments. I highly doubt she knew she was going to lose him over the last 6 to 12 months he seemed to go downhill very fast at the end? If she knew they’d 12 months left she’d surely have done things differently. But Losing her husband forever is the cruelest price imaginable. I’m baffled at her online posting to be honest, she must be in shock is the only logical explanation.

Niamh is too immature and self-centred to feel any guilt over how she's acted as her husband quite literally fought for his life. She's not going to reflect and change her ways, she will do a Rachel Gorry and (re-)launch her IG "career" on the back of it.

Sending nothing but love to his family.
You need to reflect on what you just wrote. Get a fucking grip and leave the girl be. Whether you like her content or not none of us know her personally. Have some empathy, she must be absolutely broken. Think the thread should be closed. This topic isn't up for gossip

The nights are long and lonely enough for her.. good on her friends for dragging her out and giving her something different to think about for a little bit

A young girl and her newborn baby from the same county as me passed away last week. The Mirror had pictures of her coffin in the church up on their page. They're actually scum and so disrespectful.

Its Tattle guys.. of course everyone has thoughts and opinions... dont be looking here for moral highground .. head over to RIP and offer your condolences if your genuinely broken up for them... can't stand people who sign up for Tattle coming along acting holier than thou with other Tattlers.. leave the thread instead of demanding it closes .....

Already shes reposting someone thinking shes amazing on a whole new level..
Just because it’s tattle shouldn’t be an excuse for people to be cunts.
