I'm not victim blaming at all here, but oh my goodness, why oh why do people put themselves into dangerous situations? Not just women, men too who will drink and then stagger home and end up getting mugged. Women who drink way too much and spend nights in beds with other people, completely passed out.
There always has and always will be some really evil people in the world who will take advantage of people in vulnerable situations. Sad :(
Everything you’ve said is the whole definition of victim blaming. Everyone should be able to live their lives, wear what they want, get drunk, get taxis, whatever, without being under threat of being taken advantage of. It’s the perpetrators who need to change their behaviour, not the victims.

I think even the most outspoken confident person can be too scared or too traumatised to speak out after such an event. Also maybe she's feeling strong enough to speak about it now after cutting ties with certain people, or maybe through therapy to process it. Maybe profiting from her story actually helps empower her, taking the power back from her abuser. In that case good on her.

Her giggling at every single thing he says is a bit weird.

I'm not crazy about the house. It's giving me 'upmarket but bleak Bournemouth hotel circa 1965' vibes. The kitchen is nice but quite dark, the bedroom doesn't have any windows (!), there's chintzy stuff everywhere and my bowels would definitely freeze up if I tried to take a shit in that be-carpeted bathroom/drawing room. And, like a lot of celeb homes, it feels like they spent one afternoon picking everything out of a (high end, chintozorama) catalogue.

With Lily Allen I always feel she's decided on a new persona and is just inhabiting it for a while. She played at being a cheeky working class girl for a while. Then she was a Cotswolds earth mother with the first husband, got bored of that and now she's a slick New Yorker with a new Hollywood husband. Who knows what she'll go for next.

I really love her sharp bob though.

Woah, what were her strange reasons for faking a miscarriage?! 😬
From memory from the book some one had gone through her bins (?!) and found a pregnancy test, so she was going to be outed as pregnant in the press. She wasn’t in a place to have a child so wanted an abortion, but obviously coming out and saying that at that time wasn’t tenable so she had to say she’d miscarried. Like it’s an awful lie but she was also put in an awful position, so I don’t think it’s quite the same as entirely fabricating a miscarriage from nothing. Personally!

I have just remembered the very weak tea that about 15 years ago I saw Miquita off her tits at Tales of the Jackalope telling herself in the mirror that she was the most beautiful woman she'd ever seen. Over and over again.

I dont agree. I think she looks fabulous. Fit and toned and like a woman who takes a lot of care of herself with a lot if money. Its such a contrast to how she used to look - fat and sweaty wearing trainers and puffing a fag
what an absolutely c*nty take

She was out doing a box class in Manhattan. Does that mean she left the 2 girls with david?
This would frighten me. I know they are married now but how well does she really know him.

I think that's a bit extreme. It's not like a one night stand that she left them with after meeting the night before.

NO!!!! Perpetrators will always exist, as sad as that is and as much as we can all wish they didn't, the fact is they do. It'd be a very ideal world if we could all just get drunk and be clueless about what we are doing, or just let our children wonder free, but the fact of life is, evil exists. We have to protect ourselves! I'm a survivor and have previously been in positions of danger, and one time the risk unfortunately was too high. Was it my fault? No. Could have I made wiser decisions and possibly prevented what happened from happening? Yes.
Yes, would be amazing to walk around a dangerous city at 3am...but it's dangerous. Yes it would be great to live a life doing what we wanted when we wanted, but it's human nature to assess risks and to protect ourselves from said risks.

No way! Lily was on Miquita’s podcast recently. They grew up together, they are like family.

How strange. Maybe people close to her staged an intervention and she’s consequently cut them out of her life? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Total speculation but I can’t think what else it could be.
I don't disagree but miquita looks like she also has an eating disorder.

I fully believe like many others on here that she has an ED. However I just see she is now hired for a campaign with Armani and is yet again a cover girl for Glamour. So she gets rewarded for her ED by the people who give her the attention she craves. Such a toxic, awful cycle. Glad I am a boring size 12 nobody.

Lily went to the Brit School which is in Croydon and very much working class. Amy Winehouse and Adele went also. I feel that she was very submissive in this video. And thinks he is far more funnier than he is.
Lily also went to Bedales which has fees of between £30,000-£40,000 a year. Lily is very much not working class.

ETA; I can’t find a source that says she went to the Brits school, although I didn’t look very hard so happy to be corrected.

My mum has been a Pilates and Yoga instructor for 40 years, still does it every day in her 70s and is very healthy. She has never looked like that. She still has a healthy amount of fat on her body and has defined muscle. Her ribs don’t show and doesn’t look skeletal in her face. Stop trying to normalise whatever Lily is doing because we all know she doesn’t look like that naturally and she clearly isn’t healthy.

Some of the comments here saying "she doesn't look anorexic" really need to be rephrased to "she doesn't look like she's about to die as a result of an eating disorder". I'm not up for speculating whether she does or doesn't, but it's really damaging to imply that somebody can't possibly have a problem until it has got to a stage that they can be deemed 'thin enough'. People are literally refused support and treatment based on having a BMI that is considered too high, both due to lack of resources and the sort of opinions seen here.
