I'd seen this girl on my fyp before once or twice but it was a long time ago and i'd kind of assumed she was escaping the kid's abusive dad or something and paid it no more mind. then the other day i saw something and came rushing here! now i've read all the threads about her here and some of the cambodia expat stuff and now i'm so worried for that baby. This is a woman who's been sexually abused and exploited since she was a baby. She's had surgeries as a small child to correct injuries from sexual abuse. It's probably worse than we could ever even imagine as the local authority didn't challenge her allegations and they paid out a huge sum of money. Her brain has been irreversibly damaged by all of this. She would need possibly decades of therapies - a whole therapeutic package to even begin to process that and relearn how to be. Most of us can't imagine how a childhood of being passed around different men to be abused impacts development and personality formation. She seems to be a horrible person, yes. But it's how she's been taught to be and it's how she's survived. It's not her fault.

She has no attachment to that baby. She's not able to form attachments to people. She has no idea how. It's not unheard of for women with childhoods such as hers to go on to sell their own children to adult men. It's also not uncommon for girls who grow up being systemically exploited to recruit other children. I do think it's possible that this could happen if it hasn't already.

I've travelled all over Asia and met a surprising number of white English and Australian girls with drug problems dragging dirty, sunburnt, mosquito-bitten babies around. Her baby looks far more sickly than any of them did. He looks anaemic, malnourished, developmentally delayed, traumatised, and neglected. He's in a worse condition than some of these "street kids" she's "trying to help". He is absolutely ingesting drugs through her breast milk. I think she's taking Yaba - it's common in SE Asia, especially Thailand and it's basically crystal meth in tablet form with added caffeine. She'll be able to tell herself she's taking it for her "ADHD" and that it helps her focus on looking after her baby.

I really hope he is in the care of the Thai authorities at the moment because I dread to think where else he could be. This is really worrying.

Women like Ellis should be forcibly sterilised.

If her son is in ‘psychiatry’ it’s because his mum is a disgusting shitstain of a human being who couldn’t raise kids if her life depended on it.

I watched this basket case months ago when she was dragging her baby in the hotel buggy MILES for a shop in rural Thailand… I remember thinking it was like a scene from a horror film. Still can’t believe she’s going! Who on earth flees to Thailand and Cambodia….Trafficking hotspots especially for children, she’s vile.

This woman has such a dark soul. It would not surprise me if she was selling her child for certain things out there. And writing that made bile rise up in my throat but if anyone would do that. Its her. She is seriously one of the scariest people I've ever laid my eyes on.

It’s usually other unfit mums who band together and moan about the ‘system’ taking their kids because the social workers get ‘commission’, rather than accept the fact that removing children from their parents is an utterly last resort and that you’ve failed your kids somehow.

I just hope where ever the wee boy is, he's finally getting medical & dental treatment it breaks my heart knowing how badly she neglected his teeth

Saw someone did a tiktok about her and most of the comments were suitably horrified by her and her actions (as anyone in their right mind would be) but there are still a fair few ‘she’s a good mum doing her best x’ ‘she is giving her son a good life’ and I just ??? How can the bar be so low? How can you think any of what she does is ok? With his rotting teeth, lack of speech, pale skin…makes me worried how their own kids are cared for if they think she’s a good mum.

Teeth that bad must be causing pain and preventing him from eating properly. Which, in turn, will affect his ability to talk because his mouth and tongue muscles won't be developing correctly. Don't even start me on the potential for sepsis or something if infection takes hold. She's a fucking disgrace. Urgh.
