That’s probably the most tone deaf thing I’ve seen her post. With all that is going on right now who really wants to see her unboxing lavish gifts and talking about her expensive holiday. She should be embarrassed for herself thinking it’s appropriate. There’s people trapped in cities starving to death in Europe or fleeing for their lives with just the clothes on their backs and people at home here in Ireland who can’t afford to hear their homes. I know life is going on for us but I cannot stomach that showing off right now personally.

This woman is chaos. She’s an insult to the medical profession.

I’m so busy I haven’t gone the notes for my patients.
So I’ll do a live on Facebook/insta about the vaccine with a brand so it’s €€.
Oh I feel like wine but I’ve work to do, I’ll have the wine.
I’m so busy in the clinic today, here’s my leopard print pants (while most GPS in scrubs or PPE to protect their patients).
No covid signage up, I don’t care that she never has more than 1 patient in with her at a time, no signs about hand washing or 2meters. Too cool for that Laura ?
My mum is doing great thanks for asking we broke restrictions last week for Romy’s party but please don’t call me out on it.
I’m a GP with an interest in skin care, but only the brands I can prescribe for you then sell you from my website.

Need I go on

“guys on top of the €1000 coat, I got a €550 hair curler, a €650 air purifier AND a €400 hoover. Now here’s some horrible cardigans REDUCED to €250, I bought 3 from this website! Adding in the 2 kittens for €1800, that brings to €5,000 my spend in the last 3 days”
Generally people with money don’t feel the need to brag like this? Laura you are screaming tacky new money, so obviously after a windfall. It’s certainly not from any kind of hard work.
Who the f here has a spare €5k to drop on shit Christmas week? In 3 days she has spent about 2 months worth of the net median wage in Ireland on absolute shit. Selfish ignorant woman in this economic climate and time of year… there’s people queuing to get help with food for Christmas dinners. You need none of those items you’re bragging about. Maybe next month donate the €5,000 to SVP and redeem yourself?

So she’s off to a plastic surgeon for a consult to have a ‘mummy makeover’ 🤢
Her c-section scar is awful, she has diastasis which causes her back pain 🤥 and her nipples are pointing somewhere they shouldn’t - sounds to me like she’s going to have a tummy tuck and a breast reduction. I find it so offensive that she’s called it a mummy makeover, like it or not she’s going to influence women to feel bad about themselves and consider surgery to look better.

Dr Laura, maybe use your platform to make us feel comfortable and happy with our bodies as they are without resorting to drastic, serious surgery so that we don’t look like a mother. Because mothers are clearly old and wonky and ugly, ugh she makes me so mad with her shallow bullshit.

She’s unbelievable. An utter disgrace to the profession. How the hell are these dr huns not held to account?

Is anyone here a Dr? What do real Drs think of her? I would be absolutely mortified if she was a colleague of mine. 🙈
I’m a nurse now studying graduate medicine and I don’t view her as a real doctor 😂 I see her as someone who did a degree in medicine but decided to leave the career to set up a skin care shop instead. I’ve no issue with her deciding that clinical medicine is not for her - but the problem is the fact that 1) she has no specialist training in dermatology (anyone can go to those courses she goes to that are run by the companies whose products she sells!) and 2) she’s advertising herself as being a GP. She even said herself last week she’s not really a GP anymore.

She is essentially using her doctor title to sell stuff. I think it’s unethical because the doctor title automatically comes with so much trust from the public. It’s like Dr Doireann and her vitamins - people will buy them purely because she’s a doctor when you can get the very same ones in Lidl for a quarter of the cost.

I don't post on these forums but I am incensed at her posts today. The juxtaposition of a post about Gaza followed by sales of a t-shirt, a t-shirt, for 300e. Read the room Laura, you're a disgrace. Spend your money on frivolous crap but do not try to sell on uncared for goods. Or at least give the proceeds to charity for humanitarian aid. You're nothing but a spoiled brat and the people who follow you need to get their heads and conscience' examined.

If you're going to come on to your stories and apologise for delays in following up on people's consultations and that your husband is helping to package product because you're flat out, so busy..........perhaps omit the subsequent stories of try-on (gifted?) clothes and early morning run to Chadwicks for garden planters, Boots for "bits" and letting us know you got your hair and nails booked for next week.:rolleyes::rolleyes: "I'll have to factor in paperwork going forward".........?! Having to keep medical records and patient programmes up to date........as a doctor.........no shit!!

Sorry for the rant, but she's particularly galling to me at the moment.

Hang on a second, are we supposed to think Dr Laura is some sort of martyr for being on a 6.25am train for work?
Laura love, that train time exists because lots of us travel on it EVERYDAY
What a dick

January- Lanza with all the fam & her folks x 2 weeks
March - Mexico with Ross x 2 weeks
May- Spain x 4/5 days with Ross for wedding
May/June - 2 weeks in Spain with fam & her folks

she’s had almost 8 weeks of holiday and we aren’t even half way into the year.

she can’t cope with the kids as she’s never had them full time.
She works with her expensive skin appointments selling expensive stuff & prescribing the expensive stuff she sells & books a hol & is gone again.
She would be a terrible GO unavailable most of the time & couldn’t even identify herself with gallstones purely because she didn’t view herself as fat (she isn’t but you won’t always have all the indicators).
She’s a joke to the real medical professionals

Laura is the absolute epitome of a spoiled little madam. I always thought that from when I started following her just after she started her account. I'd say she has gotten everything she ever wanted in life including what was it, 3 expensive university courses before she decided she wanted to play doctor?! I unfollowed her shortly before the new baby was born because jesus the bore of all the pregnancy stuff. Like what service did she think was providing. Women have managed for lifetimes without laura telling them how to birth a child. I dip in and out now of her stories to see what line of BS she is spinning. The whole covid debacle was an absolute disgrace and her justification of it was insane. And then to put a grid post up with the antibodies result was beyond irresponsible. If she went to such pains to keep the covid result secret why on earth couldn't she have zipped it up that she did an antibodies test. She is a dangerous person to have any sort of platform. The webinars aimed at "new parents" are a disgustingly cynical way to make money. This is all advice that a)you can get from free reputable sources and b) you discover yourself as a new parent. With your first child you bring it to the doctor if she sniffles and you learn each time and develop your instinct and learn what needs to be seen by a doctor. But you have to experience this not be told by a quack on insta when to bring your child to a doctor and when not to! The thoughts of a new parent with a sick child running to some stupid handout she has emailed them instead of calling their GP or doc on call sickens me.
And as for the skincare stuff. OMG like where would you even begin. She is underqualifed with very little experience and under no supervision. Who would trust their face to this? Crazy stuff. How can it be allowed within regulations? She has no passion for medicine. You can always see that when she answers a question about being a GP or her route to studying medicine. She obviously is clever and able for intense studying and it is like she just picked it because it is a aspirational career. There is not a caring bone in her body. She cannot even tolerate her kids for too long. Couldn’t see her give compassionate care to sick patients.
I think she is greedy enough that she will trip herself up. She is so cocky and has never been told no in her life so she will heed no caution. I guarantee if someone knows her from childhood they would say her parents treated her like a princess. Written all over her.

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with women having breast lifts/reductions and/or tummy tucks, but I really object to this "mummy makeover" term that's become the catch all phrase for doing a major MOT on yourself after having children. I already have very large and quite low breasts and I haven't even had kids yet. I've always had in the back of my mind that I may have them reduced and lifted after kids (because they'll just go further south after pregnancy and breastfeeding so why would I do it before 🤣). But that's genuinely been my thinking since I was very young because they are huge and quite inhibiting. It hasn't been influenced by anyone external.

She is in a position where, as a doctor (and I use that term begrudgingly and very loosely) with a public profile, it's really poor form to be coming on projecting this sentiment that women's bodies are awful after babies and require major surgery to rectify them. The language she used was thoughtless, irresponsible and negative. I can imagine a lot of women watching her last night, many of whom could be feeling vulnerable or self conscious about their bodies, hearing her on those stories and feeling like there is something wrong with them.

The reason this woman, though, is doing this is purely because she is just utterly self obsessed and vanity personified. It's like over the last few months in particular that she has become like a woman possessed regarding "improving" her physical self. She's having peels, laser or some other treatment done literally every week. Now she's off to be "fixed" further basically with major surgery. There must be a major void in her life that she keeps trying to fill with this constant tinkering with herself.

It would be more in her line to spend some time working in her own clinic. Also agree with the poster above saying it's a bit odd she's having her Botox done in Dublin?! She won't have the "mummy makeover" this side of Christmas though, unless the plastic surgeon is going to do her a favour by doing it fast and, moreover, that would be insane to have that level of surgery and then go on long haul flights a couple of weeks later.

Apologies for the essay, she just annoys me more and more each day!

Agree wholeheartedly with all the above. She is delusional. She spends more time on herself than anyone I know.
Does she think she is working when she gets all the peels and facials and botox?
She is a married mother of three very young children, it’s normal to have zero time for yourself, zero time and also, zero money!
She is off to Thailand in a few weeks, had a consultation with a plastic surgeon to renovate her body and she is renovating her big house whilst doing feck all in her clinic.
She is very dislikeable.
Wonder has she appointed someone as the next dogsbody when Victoria flies in leave?
That will be interesting to watch unfold!
