This is my first time posting because I feel so strongly about this! I feel so so sorry for Lisa, Ant evidently had drug and alcohol problems and cheated on her with his new woman. Lisa has never slagged him off or gone to the papers. I follow her on twitter and she's just liked tweets when people have seen Ant for what he is. The divorce settlement was a fake story. He wants her to sign a nda by the look of things and she refuses, so it drags on. But the media are obviously paid by his pa team to make her look bad. They follow her round and get the worse pictures of her followed by a story of ant looking so happy with this glamorous new woman. It's awful, her mental health must be in pieces. She constantly asks to be left alone. She lost her dad not long after it all. Along with all the close mutual friends she probably lost who went along with Ant. Her life has been shattered by him. I can never understand how Ant kept his job and people still love him, when he crashed into a family drink driving! Anyone else would never work again! Rant over! Just hate the witch hunt!

He's a nasty, drink, stoned twat who thought he was untouchable. His problems with drink and drugs have been well known by itv for years. Seems they love supporting white men and stick by them no matter what. He nearly killed a family but came back and won an award. It's the sycophantic actions of itv which have allowed creatures like ant and Schofield to get away with murder.

He was also awful to his ex. She put up with his problems for decades. There were also rumours that he has anger management issues. But him and Dec, alongside holly and Phil, are untouchable. I can't wait for this clique to be busted. Sick of seeing the same 4 people everywhere, doing everything.

Attacking her looks is just mean and having a go at her for staying with him despite HIS cunty behaviour is just victim blaming. I’d like to think that his ‘generosity’ in the divorce settlement was because they’d been together a long time and he felt a loyalty to her but I suspect, as other posters have said, he was stuffing her mouth with gold (and chances are, she’d be awarded a similar split through divorce courts anyway, given they’ve been together so long).

I feel bad for Lisa and I can brush aside how often she seems to be in the media because of it. I can’t even imagine my private life being exposed for the world to see, for people to continuously pick holes in my appearance, my life being played out in the media like it’s some show for people to sit back and enjoy. She may have bagged £31mil but money does not bring happiness. Not only that, to see your ex husband play happy families with an ex friend and her child. Well, it must feel like her face is rubbed in it all the time. Team Lisa here

Team Lisa here too, Ant is an absolute arsehole. The way he‘s treated her is awful. The shit he put her through, he was obviously knocking that AnnMarie off while they were still married, he should have given her the dog after carrying on! The new bird looks like an arsehole too, a match made in heaven. Itv are a joke, most people would have been sacked after what he did but not golden boy. I’ve always thought there was something about him, always preferred Dec. I really hope Lisa finds the happiness she truly deserves

I most certainly feel sorry for her but she does herself no favours liking nasty posts about him. It just means she's using those people to voice what she won't say herself and that's sneaky. I agree there's a huge PR thing re Ant being papped looking happy blah blah blah, but much as I don't like rating women on looks I wouldn't call his new partner glamourous in the least. She's nice enough but no beauty and far from my idea of glamourous.

I dunno I think liking a few tweets exposing Ant for the asshole makes her more likeable not “passive aggressive”. It’s probably the only way she can regain some control as she is not able to speak her truth. She is clearly being bullied by ITV for her silence. She is having to endure seeing “arranged wholesome photos” of her husband in the press with his new squeeze whilst she is papped wherever she goes.
I have nothing but sympathy for her. Let’s not tear down the woman in this senario I think Ant deserves a hell of a lot more criticism for the way he behaved but as a “national treasure” he gets away with it

I think Lisa has every right to feel bitter. Not only did her husband, the man she‘d been with since she was a teenager and given her best years to, dump her after she’d agreed to stand by him, he quickly shacked up with someone she’d considered a friend. Then to add insult to injury the press continued to stalk and pick on her every move, posting the most unflattering photos of her taking the bins out etc. It was obviously a targeted campaign by James Grant, in cahoots with the press to make her look like the villain and deflect negative press from Ant himself. Its pretty disgraceful actually. I think most people would feel bitter after that. Lisa won’t go quietly, but then why should she?

Can't see it ending well if she is pregnant. Ant comes across as a spoilt selfish man-child who has to be "looked after" by his partners. I can't see him taking well to having a newborn baby around, depriving him of sleep and taking the attention away from him.

I've always hated the media narrative that he doesn't bear any responsibility for his actions, and it's the women around him who either make him "good" or "bad." I feel so sorry for Lisa. She must have put up with loads of shit behind the scenes when he was in the middle of his addiction. Yet she's portrayed as the bad guy because she couldn't get him sober, and his new partner is portrayed as the hero because she did. Where's Ant's responsibility here? He's a grown arse man who is responsible for his own bloody life and his own addiction.

Not a massive Ant or Dec fan but I think he done right by most people stepping away from the limelight following all that scandal!

I also think he was relatively sheepish on his return to TV taking a while to become like he normally was!

While I don’t condone what he done I think it was handled quite well!

As for his wife, I can’t stand her! I think she seems like a nasty piece of work! I understand a marriage break down must be devastating but she is relishing in a pity party for herself! IMO

Absolutely team Lisa! He has treated her like absolute shit and has literally broken her.
He’s given interviews to the sun and spoke about her and gushed about his new relationship while Lisa has kept a dignified silence. She deserves every penny she gets from this divorce, I truly hope that she finds happiness and can rebuild her life.

That's ok as long as they're loved and been kept safe. My friend is 36 and has an 88 year old dad and 69 year old mum who she's really close to and has had a wonderful life with. It's fine. My mum and dad had me young and by the time I was 11 they'd both died (dad at 2 and mum just shy of my 11th birthday). It literally doesn't matter about age. If I get my wish now I'll be 66 when my baby is 30 and my husband will be 78 hopefully. I don't think age matters, what matters is the love and stability they receive. There's lots to criticise Ant on but I'm not sure this is it

I'm Team Lisa since Ant insisted on shared custody for the dog he bought for her even though he had got new dogs with his new lady. And I think this was whilst Lisa's dad had cancer.

Ive always liked Ant and Dec but am so team Lisa on this. She is a succesful woman in her own right and has never used Ant to further her career. She never even took his surname when they married. I remember her being on This Morning doing make overs years ago and I didn't even know she was married to Ant. Then she moved to Strictly where she became the senior make up artist. You only have to look at her social media to see that she's very well liked by her colleagues on Strictly. That says enough for me.

Im quite disgusted at how James Grant management (oh them again) have thrown her to the wolves in order protect Ant and the Ant and Dec brand. Im even more disgusted with Ant for allowing it to happen. She gave him her best years, and for what?

Agree 100%, I really feel for Lisa she seems a good person. Yeah she did lose her Dad, it must have been terrible for her with everything else going on
