Aldi staff are so lovely, my dad has Parkinsons and has been going in to Aldi for years and all the staff chat to him.

He went in a few weeks back and hr had a new bank card and forgot to activate it so couldn't pay at the checkout, so he said he would go home and get cash and come back down and the lovely manager there wouldn't hear of it and told him to take his shopping on the house.

Dad went back anyway later with cash and they wouldn't accept it and told dad to donate it to a food bank if he wanted but that he didn't need to pay.

The security guy there also helps him put his shopping in the car.

A friend of mine once ordered effervescent Berocca in her online shop. They were out of stock and were substituted with fizzy orange Haribos

If Aldi had the Lidl bakery it’d be the perfect shop

I went in one day last year (Aldi) and there was a queue forming in the centre aisle so I joined, not knowing what the queue was for. I went home with an electric outdoor heater which was half price. I got the second last one. It’s good for adding warmth to the gazebo when the sides are on.

My gran says that after the war they did the same, joined queues without knowing what was being sold in the shop!

No ‘influencer’ has ever influenced me like this thread has. Everyone posting in here should be earning commission
