What I'm saying is if a couple want to have another couple over to hang out, I don't see the problem. It's better than going out. You could catch more going to the supermarket! I think everyone should self isolate BUT what I'm saying is Zoe HAS to do it in a passive aggressive way, rather than messaging whoever she saw and reminding them, she pointedly causes a stir online. Just like how you have responded to me (which I totally understand because my message comes across as not very caring of the situation) instead she goes off on social. People definitely should be staying indoors, but if you are all healthy and so are your mates and three or four of you want to hang out for a little, that's entirely up to you. She always self isolates so she is thriving right now. She has made zero changes to her lifestyle and its genuinely sad.
Sorry I know there's an entire thread dedicated to Covid but you shouldn't be having friends over or going over to friend's houses. You shouldn't be visiting family members outside of those you immediately live with. You shouldn't be doing anything other than going to the supermarket or pharmacy or taking walks or doing exercise well within distance from others. You're selfish otherwise.

Hi! First time poster! What really rubbed me the wrong way was the post on her instagram of her FREE pizzas and drinks for multiple people and literally the next slide was: "Corona! Support small businesses! They suffer!"Then pay for your food, millionaire!

I know this is kind of and old topic, but today I tought of Zoe and Alfie's video in wich she said she cried wolf and preteneded that he was attacking her as a joke...Today, us women in Mexico went on an strike. As I have already told u, femicides here are terrible, around 10 women are killed daily just for being women, so we decided to just dissapear. We dind't use social media, didn't go out to the streets, didn't buy anthything, didn't go to work, college, etc; it was a tough day, a hard day, it was heartbreaking and empowering at the same time, the silence was impressive, the president wasnt bold enough to even speak about this, he blamed everyhing on 'the right wing', and at some point I tought about Zoella and I felt sick in my stomach. Just wanted to say, to every girl and woman in this plataform, no matter your nationality, status, preference, or whatever that we are powerfull and deserve the entire world. I feel lucky enough for beeing alive, but I have beeing harassed, beaten by 'my best friend', called a slut and many things I know some of u have fought trought, so I am sending all of my love...

I am not sorry for posting OTP, u guys areawesome <3

So passive aggressive of Zoe! It doesn't mean you can't go out AT ALL! What's the difference between having a couple of friends over, popping to the supermarket or going to work? There isn't a full lock down yet and that was clearly aimed at someone yet she hasn't got the balls to message them 😂
She’s right though. You’re ideally supposed to only have the people you live with in your household. No social visitors as this could increase the spread. That’s why people are working from home and retailers are asking just one person from your household to go to the supermarket to go to the supermarket.

Yeees, I was gonna write here and ask what's the point on hiding the holiday destination?! It's stupid.
I bet she’ll be like “and there was a tiny postcard of the place in our kitchen for months and none of you noticed!!” As if people keep a record of every item in her house... keeping it a secret just seems to be part of making her life content, no spoilers...

His pronunciation in general is so obnoxious
And his manner of speaking. I’ve said it before but the needless insertion of “up” in many sentences “editing up the vlog”, “cooking up some food.”
Also the way he stretches out what he’s saying, like he’s trying to fill time which is probably true; to get to ten minutes. He’s done it for years, it’ll be “I’m going to the supermarket, I need food, to make breakfasts and lunches and dinners. I’ll be getting cereals, bread, some eggs, loads of stuff. Things that make good snacks, though obviously I don’t eat all my lunches at home, sometimes I grab something near the office or just out with friends. So I’m buying food that can be eaten at any time of day. Maybe breakfast or maybe lunch or dinner. Anyway I’m going to the supermarket.”

You may NEED to go to the supermarket, you don’t need to see friends 🤔

The amount of passive aggressive 'be kind' quotes she's posted on Instagram are ridiculous. So very clearly making it all about herself, and yet really, what can she actually complain about? She hasn't been hounded by the media, has she?

She's been called out for doing stupid, greedy shit - ripping children off with her overpriced advent calendar, refusing to meet her fans who'd paid through the nose at Hello World, pretending she's an author when she had her book ghostwritten, making inappropriate jokes about DV. She's brought that on herself. If her own greed hadn't led her into these actions, then I doubt she would attract much negative commentary at all.

She just doesn't believe she should face any kind of scrutiny or criticism for her decisions - yet fails to understand that putting yourself in the public eye is a double edged sword. You get to make a lot of money from your fans, you get thousands of adoring comments for the most banal post - that's how egos grow to the size of houses and people lose touch with reality. Other than the blatantly nasty, trolling comments (which I agree are totally uncalled for and should be ignored) I think influencers should be encouraged to engage openly with their criticism and use it to ground themselves and develop. The problem is that when you only believe the positive is 'true' you can never grow as a person.

I hate to agree with Zoella but you are literally saying the opposite to most of the globe’s governments and health organisations, and it’s hard to see how they could make the advice clearer.

Stay home, don’t socialise, that’s the advice. That’s it.

Doesn’t mean Zoe isn’t still ripe for discussing here but that is the one thing she’s probably doing right.

Well. They aren't exactly wrong, are they?
Again, Zoe has to post it.
*Shock horror! Someone doesn't like Gavin and Stacey! No way!*
Nah... this isn't ok. Wasn't Zoe saying to "be kind" after Caroline's death? Or is that just for influencers? Zoe, you just shared this account with your million followers and they will now probably attack her. She is so delicate. Ignore this message, no need to post it for all to see.

It‘s extremely selfish to still hang out with friends. And yes, there‘s a difference between hanging out with friends or going grocery shopping😒

I still can't believe her and Alfie were laughing at Joe's show being cancelled and them still training. When bad things happen, you tend to see people's true personality.

Come on Joe, while you're stuck at home, knock Dianne up and propose so we have some good Zoe pretending not to be devastated content to watch

Here are my 10 things other people like that I don't:

Flogging £50 advert calendars to kids
Leaving garden furniture worth several grand to rot
Preaching "Be Kind" yet paying your employees minimum wage
Publishing a book on hosting despite never actually hosting anyone
Surrounding yourself with yes-men
Claiming to love your dog yet never walking it
Spending your life monging under a blanket despite living in one of the most vibrant cities in the country
commercialising any event/celebration/season imaginable to fill the void created by your long-dead relationship
Employing clones of yourself
Regularly offering life advice despite being arguably the least experienced person in life, ever

I dont even like alfie but she really does hold him back, i could see him as a proper travel vlogger, living in countries for months at a time
You’re the only one. Alfie is as much a homeboy as Zoe, he just pretends to be some adventurer. He couldn’t even live in London for long before running back to Brighton and his Mummy.
