Finally found this thread. I cannot cope with how she’s always on the beg for followers or complaining that she deserves more. I can appreciate she puts effort into the content, and there are things like the gift food for gifted food and not shying away from politics that elevate her above most others. But stop bleeping banging on about your rescue dog. We get it.
Yeah i've followed Zoe for years, she's actually the only blogger that ive ever messaged (this was a few years back now) and she didnt reply.
She's been complaining about lack of engagement or lack of making it big for years, and i sort of get her point as she has an actual DJ career on the side rather than all these influencers who literally have nothing in their lives other than shopping and selfies. Her content does have that 'niche' angle which is what all those 'how to become an influencer' guides tell you to find. But on the other hand... nothing more off putting than someone who complains about lack of engagement!!

Anyone else find it a bit off that she rescued a dog from China and named it Sushi.. A Japanese food? I'm sure she doesn't think sushi is Chinese but it seems a bit misguided
I think Zoe needs to ditch twitter, because she comes across terribly on there. Moany, ungrateful, fake and manipulative. She's also a prolific tweet/joke stealer too.
She's incapable of talking about any wider issues without immediately bringing it back to her.
She's so smug and proud of herself with the whole 'adopt don't shop' thing (which I agree with btw) but...she did shop? She waited until a Corgi became available and chose the exact dog she wanted. Don't get me started on the name of the poor little dog - Sushi for a dog rescued from China and Sushi for a dog rescued from a MEAT TRUCK

She's continuously working throughout the lockdown, getting sent tons of freebies (okay she does pay it forward with food), has had her kitchen redone WHILST on her luxury holiday, redid their bedroom, is having decking installed, went on a luxury holiday and adopted a second dog. She can't act like she's been missing out on life when she's had more 'life' than most people in a comfortable position have in 5 years. Aside from her dogs, she never acts grateful for ANYTHING. Sure she's not getting sponsored Dior content (and that wouldn't even go with her image...) but she's still making a living off of what she does. What does George actually do? I've never actually thought about it.

I feel like Zoe is kinda desperate for fame, as a cool DJ/presenter, and wants to come across as the most 'real' influencer out there. I remember her making a 'therocketts' account for her and her husband when they were newlywed, then one for the house, then the dogs... etc. She makes pretty good content, seems kind, and is honestly someone I prefer to most other influencers but it just feels like she'll never be satisfied from her constant complaining - some of which is valid but when she talks about low engagement like every day? Girl, you have a life that most people would love...

If she really wants an Asian name then she can literally google or ask for help from the agency in finding something fitting for his personality.

I used to live in China! My city had so many adorable corgis (and those lil brown poodles, haha) so she really was spoilt for choice. Bao or Mantou would be super cute and fitting for him if she wanted a food item imo!Yup. I live in China and there are so many good options
