I have never commented on this thread before but just saw a video of her husband asking for people to donate to a go fund me for his Mums cat who was knocked down (poor wee cat btw), meantime they have spent about £15k on this trip (Zara said that herself). She didn’t do Florida right. She tried to do it on a shoestring and ironically ended up spending more and still having a lesser experience because she wouldn’t listen to people- she knew best. I genuinely roared over the car hire situation- saw it coming a mile off. She also should have thought about the fact her kids have SEN and planned her days accordingly. Had they booked a hotel/resort instead of a townhouse on one, they might have found the kids enjoyed it more as there would have been other kids to make friends with. I’ve been to Florida over 20 times and never once hired a car- we’ve either stayed on site at Disney or stayed on idrive and we have never needed a car. She’s spent a fortune and had a shit experience and she’s rubbishing it- but the reality is she didn’t do it right. Yes Florida is a lot more expensive than what it used to be- but so is everywhere. Can’t help but think that she felt she had to do it without stopping to think whether or not it was the right trip for her family. Also who the fuck books connections that results in a 24 hour outward flight to Florida. That’s not saving money that’s lunacy

Shes just spent 8k to go to florida. Thinks shes done ok with that price.
Hate to say it but she's not the full shilling is she? I priced up direct flights for 4 of us at the same time, Disney and universal 14 day park tickets, hire car, hotel and got in under 6k.
Shes taking 3k spends for 18 nights and thinks shes filling 4 cases with bargains to bring home
Best of luck to you Zara, you'll need 1k for tips alone! The other 2k will feed you and pay for your parking, you might even get a wallmart t shirt each for that.

Florida is expensive when you're there. Hidden costs everywhere when you're doing the parks.
