Recently bought a top online from Zara and it’s a medium but reading about size guides online it seems to suggest a medium is size 10 and I’m a 12.

Can anyone confirm if Zara is small for sizing?

Yes it is! It’s small in ladies and children’s I’ve found too! X

i think Zara sizing is tiny! I'm a Large in there. (Usually I'm a 12. ) Although isn't Mango also a Spanish company, I find the Medium too big from there!

Oh no I think their sizes are big! I always have to get a size smaller in jeans from Zara.

Zara is renowned for being on the skimpy side when it comes to size but also for being completely inconsistent. I’m usually a large (I’m a 10-12 with big boobs) but the most recent thing I tried from there was a small which was huge on me 🤷🏼‍♀️

Small. I’m a large and I’m a size 12, which Id consider to be a medium usually. Zara clothes come up so small, fine if you are petite and really skinny.

It depends on what it is... dresses I find can run big.

Does anyone else find Zara clothes shrink? Even when following washing directions, such as cold wash and hang dry? They are really bad now. I have stuff from Zara from 10 years ago, and it is much better quality.

This is what puts me off buying from them. I’m a size 8 bottom and size 8/10 top depending on the shop. Zara small and medium still doesn’t fit me right.

Honestly, very difficult to say. I've bought things in a S which are very loose, comfortable fit and then have also had to buy a L in things too - I'm a 10/12 with quite a big chest.

I have found over the last 5 or so years, their clothes do not wash well. Even on low temp and soft spins. Have been quite put off and tend not to bother now. Prefer Monki which I can only get online but has a similar feel, but better quality!

YES! I’ve bought a lovely dress in September for my birthday dinner but decided to wear it once before. Nearly cried on my birthday because it had shrunk and at first I thought I’d put on weight because I’m very careful with washing clothes and never had something shrunk before?!

Haven’t bought anything from there since (also because their sizing annoys me! Sometimes I can’t even fit into their biggest size and other time a medium fits perfectly).

I find it totally depends what it is and what line of Zara it's from. TRF stuff is notoriously small as it is targeted at a younger market so I avoid it like the plague. Everything else can either be huge or tiny, it's a hit or a miss so I always buy two sizes and return one.
