Absolutely buzzing that I beat her by just under a minute. Unlike the world's tallest lady of leisure I had to fit my training in around a very demanding full time job, and I had no fancy app to tell me what to do.
Didn't spot her during the race but I was just focusing on staying alive

No but if she's only just started running, how come she has PB times from her 20s??? Oh Zanna, how little sense you make!

What is she on about?! Obviously it's your chip time- it's annoying when your tracker shows the route as slightly longer etc but the route is very accurately measured and its completing the course that's relevant. I didn't see her as I was in a later wave with my fellow chubby non-"athletes" but having a pacer is so intense for that race, it's just a bit of fun it's not the London marathon! Oh well, nice PB to stave off the impending breakdown...

So it wasn't the app that helped her get a PB but the pacer - she even says something in her stories about being scared her pace would drop off.

What a load of fuss over nothing. Who actually cares? People run 10km every week. I’m not a runner at all but I see runners a lot and just think, oh there’s a runner and move on with my day.
