she's not swimming. She's going in for quick dip and I don't think most people will assume she's swimming laps, just going in and out to cool down. I do agree she needs to makes this distinction, but it doesn't sound as cool to say you went in and out/dipped vs "look at me swimming in the wild"

I've really had enough of her bloody wild swimming posts. Obviously everybody is entitiled to enjoy the natural world around them and that should include being able to swim in the naturally clean lochs and lakes. However, with so many deaths in open water over the past month she really needs to add some disclaimers about water safety (especially as she was in Wast Water today i.e. the deepest lake in England!), or even share some posts about the dangers of cold water shock, which her flimsy swimming costumes won't protect against.
You’ve given her ideas for actually good content. Wait for it, it’ll come. Sure she reads these posts

You don't have to wear a mask in England anymore, "personal choice" but most people still wear them out of courtesy for the vulnerable, people who can't get vaccinated and those who have Covid anxiety. I still wear mine but went to the coast last weekend and was getting some takeaway at a pier and (beside the staff) barely anyone was wearing one! 😤

Her eyebrows are at the same angles as those hills.

Wow. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but she looks ugly to me there. Might be the creepy smile, too. Why is she always smiling like that? Can't she smile normally? It looks so, so, so fake. Her inside ugliness is showing up on her face.

I'm sure she's trying to get a deal with dryrobe. She mentioned them the other day too - saying lots of people had asked how she gets changed to go wild swimming).

re looking older, I think she would do regardless of any cosmetic enhancements. Having a long, slim face can be 'ageing', compared to a round, full face which can look very young.
I don't think she's ugly and it's unkind to say so if that's what you think.

Long time lurker, finally caught up with the thread(s).

Been following Zanna for a while, but this past year showed her in a totally new light... All the travel during pandemic (damn, I even sent her advice ahead of her first Switzerland trip because I live nearby to where she went to; went through the effort to recommend vegan cafes, which aren’t many here, needless to say she ignored all of it), the massive “renovation” on an already awesome mansion, lockdown rule breaking, condescension towards her boyfriend, and generally not a very sustainable way of living.

I think what ‘broke’ me was the shelf dressing 😂 I was like, are you for real, witch?! So I ended up on here, and love to have my thoughts validated as I read all of this.

But one thing that’s always been on my mind... She loves to play herself as a victim (be it her tall dna or imaginary issues or actual health problems), but she actually has no idea how it is to live day to day with SERIOUS PROBLEMS.

I’ve never had a twisted bowel, but I live with IBS (the diarrhoea one 😬) day in and day out. It’s mortifying, it’s embarrassing, it’s humiliating, it’s exhausting and it limits what I can do so so much. I can’t leave my house without pre-planning it the day before, we have a camping toilet in our van just so I have an option when there are no options around. Yet never had I made it into a huge thing to my 5k+ followers on Instagram. And I’m sure many of you have issues you deal with every day, issues that Zanna has no clue about.

Her victim mentality really riles me up, because it’s just so bleeping unfair. She knows no hardship. She has herself said on multiple occasions that she’s never had any mental health issues (it’d check on that with a specialist, Zambo!). So why the regular “wobbles”?

How in the world is she for real?! Who is she trying to fool? Even sadder - why so many people and brands fall for this tit?!

Sorry, rant over...

I'm sure she's trying to get a deal with dryrobe. She mentioned them the other day too - saying lots of people had asked how she gets changed to go wild swimming).
.

I find several things about this hilarous.

- Dryrobe only make the dryrobe coat, a poncho towel, and a few accessories like a carseat cover and a bag. Zanna clearly has the coat, her company sells towels. Dryrobes are designed to be a once in a decade purchase, they don't add new features and make them much better that you have to buy an upgrade. If she's fishing for a new robe it's just because she's broken hers/just wants a new one, which is not sustainable and dryrobe are all about sustainability.
- If she wants a car seat cover, I'm all for that, it's quite the step down. Or maybe she's after the dog vest, and she'll have to get a dog. or put it on the cat. What has happened to the cat?
- She clearly actually just wants the kudos of being a dryrobe ambassador. Dryrobe sponsor actual athletes like Keri-Anne Payne and the England Junior squad.
- A dryrobe is about the same price as one of her swimsuits. People will surely see oh I have £140 spare to invest in swimming, shall i get a teeny weeny bikini or the big coat that will keep me warm? Hopefully they'll pick the coat. Those coats are great.
- Many swimmers don't even use the DryRobe brand. Noone actually cares much about the brand names in the swimming community. Whenever I meet teammates or friends for a swim, everyone has a different brand, I only see the "richer" people with a dryrobe, most people like to chat and ask about the features if someone has one of a brand they've not seen, but usually, it's a question of "is it cheap and is it warm?"

Most other brands are a lot cheaper and no worse quality. Moonwrap by Frostfire are super popular, but Passenger would probably be what I got next if I needed to replace mine (I like the idea of the towel lining), but also Alpkit make them that are way cheaper and you can actually pass them off as a regular coat in the winter.

I think she just wants another one for free because her business partner tagged dryrobe as gifted in her story 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone else thinking Zanna's stories a just one big rolling billboard now? Ad after Ad after Ad after Ad

Every brand she tags or plugs is trying to get a brand deal. Welcome to Zanna

I just did a quick count and she had been on 6 UK breaks since May. SIX!! This is why I get so angry when people like her give financial advice. Imagine being able to afford that without even a blink of an eye and then go away again this weekend…

No wonder so many people in their 20’s and 30’s are unhappy when these are the types of people we’re comparing ourselves too. Her life is so unobtainable to most people.

Brands need to be shown this page

Maybe she wants to partner with them for Stay Wild?

Stay Wild Swim is made at Apparel Tasker in London where soooo many other brands are made. It's nothing special

really? she makes it sound like they have their own little sewing studio 😳 but I can't imagine they make enough stock to be able to regularly pay the seamstresses a decent, living wage so it's probably better for the workers to be shared between more brands so they get regular work and pay.
Edited:
Another freaking basic "guide" no-one, I will repeat, NO-ONE asked for 🙄
