I'm doing one this year for the first time since I was a child.

I am fine with the steaming aspect, little nervous about pouring brandy over and setting it alight, and have no idea what to accompany it with.

I had a spending frenzy and bought brandy butter and brandy cream, but this is brandy overload?! It's like buying soap, body cream and perfume in the same fragrance.

What do you serve with it (if you like Xmas pud)?
 
That's great, I think I will just buy cream and advertise the brandy butter and brandy cream on Olio. Seems like an awful lot of brandy to me.
