So! I have been doing Chloe tings YouTube workout videos since the first lockdown and they have helped me both mentally and physically. I recently started again due to entering another lockdown, I am finding it hard to even lift myself up off the sofa lately. Just felt so lazy!! I finally worked out today and did a 10 min workout. Short but was great to move my body. I had an idea for people like me who find it hard to workout , can’t go to a gym and need extra motivation. The rules are you complete one workout (Can be anything, even a walk!) daily and once you’ve completed it, you post here in this thread and tell us the workout you did, how you felt when doing it, and just any random stuff you’d like to share - be kind! Let’s motivate each other. Note: even if you’re not working out and are on the sofa, post your thoughts and how you feel about your health. Maybe you’ll be motivated by reading the comments here.

tonight I did the Chloe ting 10 minute standing Ab workout video on YouTube and I felt so out of breath while doing it. But I know I need to do this for my health. I recently realised how out of breath I get when walking even a few steps and realised I need to get healthier. Even slow steps make a difference!

Absolutely love this idea! I have a love hate relationship with exercise due to years of using it as punishment for what I’ve eaten. I went up from a size 14 to 16/18 (I don’t weigh myself as find it triggering) last year due to eating and drinking though lockdowns. I’m determined not to repeat that mistake this year and get back in my 14s! Started eating better on 1st January and did my first exercise class in ages today, 30 min body combat. I absolutely loved it and I feel the best I have done in a very long time. I’m going to aim for 3 classes a week which is doable and isn’t unrealistic. We’ve got this everyone 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

so game for this. I've been feeling so miserable and unmotivated the last few days. Going to start tomorrow morning with a short run and then a quick muscle workout. Posting here for accountability! I've told myself that I've got 21 days to do this 6 days a week with 1 rest day.

I love this idea! I started yesterday to get back on track. I used to go to the gym but stopped in March (because of lockdown) and I have not been eating the healthiest over COVID and Christmas. Hoping to get back to where I was at least or down even more. Like someone said before I try not to weigh myself too much but I do probably twice weekly just to check in and see where I am at.

Yesterday I did about a 30 min work out (some floor stuff like push ups, sit ups, booty band stuff) and some steps on a mini stepper that I purchased on Amazon, def not as good as a stair climber at the gym but it is at least something!

I've been going for long walks plus I find chloe tings work outs down to earth and not too difficult,.... when I can be bothered to do them.
She gets a lot of stick from trolls for not being qualified but I don't see how someone with a mickey mouse PT certificate is any better. I looked at lots of stuff on youtube and find her the least condescending.
Plus joe wicks has got enough money now so he can jog on.
I just need to sort out my issues with self motivation. I give up so easily. This thread might be the thing.

Good luck! Think of how proud you’ll feel after you do it💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 You’ve got this💚 I think the most important step is admitting how miserable and unmotivated you are, it’s a sign you’re aware and are on the path to sorting it

This is great, thank you!

At the moment I'm going on walks and going back to my weekly online ballet classes. Would not recommend them to a total beginner due to the risk of injury but if you have some background, they've proven to be the only form of "movement" I actually enjoy. I'll give the ballet fit videos a go as well.

I definitely agree with you! i find his personality annoying plus I tried joe wicks workouts once and my body was in unbearable pain. I don’t think his workouts agree with me🤣 and trust me you’re not alone, so many people are struggling with It. If you need an easy workout i highly recommend Chloe Ting 10 minute standing abs... it’s so short but so great. My legs were definitely less stiff after doing it

This is great, thank you!

Walks are the best- well done you for having the inner strength to go outside because I just can’t go out in this cold, i bloody hate it! good luck for the ballet classes I’m sure you’ll feel amazing afterwards

Did 5 minutes of Chloe tings standing abs today and lifting my legs was hard but I pushed through. Seems pathetic that I could only do 5 minutes but I’m trying to push through it. 😩😩

not pathetic! You'll get better I promise just keep at it! Think how proud you'll feel when you can do 10/15/20 minutes! 5 minutes of trying and struggling is better than 0 minutes of nothing

Did an online workout yesterday & it felt good for my MH to move! I have weights at home luckily. I slept really well last night as a result. Been busy with work today so haven’t had chance to workout but I’m not pressuring myself!

Is anyone doing here Caroline Girvan’s Epic II programme that started last Sunday? It’s a 10 week programme, I’m doing it along with her in real time and feel really determined/motivated to see it through to the end 💪

I’m going to check that out! Is it quite hard?

no workout today but did go out for a 1 hour walk with my boyfriend and felt great to get some fresh air after being indoors for weeks. My hip was hurting though😭 been suffering with an aching hip for the past month. Think it’s due to the cold/lack of workouts/stiffness from not working out. Hope you’ve all had a great day
