Has anyone visited any? Do you recommend the ones you’ve visited? Or were they overrated?

Just wondering as I’ve heard the pyramids are overrated by some but then others say they are worth visiting

The giants causeway. It’s a nice walk around not sure if I’d go out of my way to visit if I didn’t live near it though!

I’ve been to the Great Barrier Reef,I can’t describe how incredible it was.

The Great Wall of China was very overrated, in my opinion but the people I was with thought it was amazing.

The Seven Wonders of the Modern World are:
  • Taj Mahal
  • Great Wall of China
  • Machu Pichu
  • The Colosseum
  • Christ the Redeemer
  • Petra
  • Chichen Itza
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World were:
  • the Great Pyramid of Giza
  • the Hanging Gardens of Babylon
  • the Statue of Zeus at Olympia
  • the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
  • the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
  • the Colossus of Rhodes
  • the Lighthouse of Alexandria

Had to look these up ⬆⬆
I’ve been to:
The Colosseum - def worth visiting, the history / walking tour was very interesting
The Pyramids of Giza - been twice, and inside 2 of them. Def worth visiting too, so iconic. The actual experience can be a bit…tacky?… ie so many ppl trying to sell u things and basically con u out of money but if ur with a guide it’s a much nicer experience than being on ur own. The sphinx and ruins of the temples in the same area are really interesting too.

My parents gave been to Petra and my dad literally talks about it / shows off his photos are any opportunity so I’d love to go there too.

I’m going to Petra in October that’s what made me make this thread so that’s good 😄
Also thinking about somewhere to go possibly next year but can’t decide on a place, too many options 🤔
