Thankyou I've had so many I think I have my own chair in the waiting room
. so the hysteroscopy one I've had once at the start of my treatment and I had a local anastetic for that but you can still feel discomfort and a kind of pulling feeling pain wise fairly low.
The aspiration biopsy you can feel everything from the opening the cervix and passing the tube through I'm not sure you can feel suction as such the best way I can describe it for me is a squeezing feeling and pressure that spreads out in to your pelvis area like I said different doctors can make the experience more or less painful. I'm not going to lie, it's bloody painful but it takes just a few minutes. Again we all experience pain differently I think I have quite a high pain threshold but it is the most painful thing I've ever had done. I hope I haven't scared you but it dose help to take some painkillers first.
Afterwards I normally get some bad cramping and some bleeding doesn't normally last more than a day or so.
Do you know which biopsy yore having?
