William and Kate #8

She needs a work uniform that she wears on repeat. A British designer and off she goes. Nothing to report on her outfit after the first few wears. She can save her fancy frocks for her gala events instead.

It's ok to talk the talk but is she really wanting to walk the walk?
But that’s not what the media, the public, or the fashion industry want. It’s simple—media should focus on the reason she’s there, with her fashion as an afterthought. But this is all old news since the Palace hasn’t provided fashion details to the media since 2022.

I'm part of the public, it's what I want but you've not asked and are speaking on all our behalves.

Vacuous person interested in what Kate wears here 🙋🏻‍♀️ But, seeing what she’s wearing draws me to her visits and then reading about what she’s been to raise awareness for.

Why do you want to know what she’s wearing? Are you one of those saddos who buys her outfits, so then we get told it sold out in seconds? 😜

No, quite the opposite, I was responding to the post that said the public don’t want to the media to stop talking about her frocks. I said I’m part of the public and I’d love them to stop it, can’t see why anybody cares and I’d not want her look anyway, it’s dull.

Have you done a survey to know what MOST people think?

Apologies, I read the post you replied to incorrectly.

I don't like the image at all. Smacks of Saint Kate.

Also disappointed they won't be releasing details of what Kate is wearing. Promoting British brands having been an RF thing.
On second look it is a bit saint Kate, perhaps she didn’t twig she was posing like a crucified Messiah! I like the reminder ‘nurture what’s beyond the disease’ or whatever she said. Don’t define yourself or others by a diagnosis and try not to spend every waking second thinking about it.

Looks like she did get the memo on the work suit today! Lol.
Most people want her to do the job and raise awareness/cash whatever about the engagements she's on.
I couldn't give a rats ass about what she wears.

But all she can do is show up to bring attention to the cause. She lacks the ability to bring a more substantive personal contribution so if her value is in bringing attention then appearing eye catching is the best way. She hasn't shown any inclination to speak publicly about many causes or raise proper awareness (barring maybe her early childhood project which seems to have fizzled out and gone nowhere).

She did an event 3 days ago in relation to her Early Childhood project. She visited the National Portrait Gallery with pupils ages under 5 from a primary school in Marylebone. It was to open “The Bobeam Tree Trail”. The tree is “magical” and has grown inside the gallery and children help it grow by visiting around the gallery and taking part in activities. At the end children do a self portrait whilst thinking about their own lives, thoughts and feelings. It’s a project based on research into human development and is the first to be created on the new Shaping Us Framework which Kate launched last week.

Bit late to the party on this one, but James Middleton's son is called Inigo?
That surprised me I thought they'd have gone for something more well known and traditional like his sister's, or something French.

I did always think it was a shame Kate's side didn't get a look in on the kids names, four middle names between George and Louis, neither of which are Michael or James.
They even both have Louis in their names after the dodgy Mountbatten, but no Michael after their loving grandad?!

Pippa's son has Michael as a middle name which is the name of her husband's late brother so may have been a respect thing there. But also as you say they had no problem using Louis twice so maybe not!

ETA - Maybe not as looks as they weren't actually together when George was born!

Pippa Middleton became a household name when she served as the maid of honor at her big sister Kate Middleton's royal wedding to Prince William in April 2011. Six years later, it was Middleton's turn to be a bride when she married Eton-educated hedge fund manager James Matthews. Middleton and Matthews were first linked in 2012 when they were spotted holding hands, though Middleton went on to date Nico Jackson for three years shortly after their initial sighting. Once she and Jackson parted ways, however, Middleton was spotted again with Matthews in December 2015, and the pair have been together ever since.

I think Carole and Kate both have Elizabeth as a middle name, so I imagine the Elizabeth in Charlotte's name is partly for that, not just the Queen. All the first born girls are C names too (Carole, Catherine, Charlotte) so perhaps that was intentional. Charlotte is also Pippas middle name I'm sure I read somewhere

I was kinda disappointed Louis's name entirely as. I don't like Louis 🤣 but Louis Michael Charles sounds very nice. I still wonder why they re-used Louis! Clearly my opinion matters! ;-) Naming kids is hard - I can imagine royal naming kids is worse.

Inigo seems very posh to me. Inigo Gabriel sounds nice.

Let's hope his nickname isn't the 3 middle letters. I prefer Gabriel Middleton but with all the unusual names being chosen at the moment "Inigo" will be just another posh name for a posh child.
