so i thought i'd continue the recap tradition that @watermelon sugar started on the last thread, seeing as she probably can't do one today due to her eyes being sore & we all hope it gets better very very soon

sooo:

- we still love a good chinese takeaway and a bean flick
- if anyone ever needs recommendations for crisps and chocolate, this is the thread
- i still check my post every day for that mini egg choc bar
- exes still suck!!
- we all love our pets
- very soon we will all own the foreo ufo face mask
- we celebrated mothers day and got chocolate, we celebrated paddys day and got virtual hats (we liked the hats but we preferred the times when we got.. pissed)
- we are all adding our tattle password to our will so that our brothers can come post on our behalf #dippydi
- we drew ducks
- line of duty
- we miss @Pinkblush

is there a opthamology drop in near you? I had an eye problem about 18 months ago and got passed through the GP and then optician before the hospital diagnosed it straight away. Hope you get it sorted quickly x

I had my first Covid jab about an hour-and-a-half ago (the Astra Zeneca one). I'm waiting to see if I get any side effects.

My doctor rang and said I must be either stressed or tired. And I said I'm not either. And I also said lot's of people get tired and stressed but their eye doesn't completely close over. He was like 'well get some rest and ring us back tomorrow if it hasn't improved.' He didn't even ask to see it!

I’ve had a busy morning with work, replying to emails and writing. I stripped my bed sheets this morning and I’ve just put clean bedding on, so tempted to take a nap!

I was awake at 3am after struggling to get to sleep. I tried watching The Dig on Netflix but it bored me! I used to watch Line of Duty but I found it boring too I might give it another go (I think I got to S3). I should work really but

They really should see you, it’s your eye ffs! I had to send pictures of my eyelid eczema to the doctor before he would ring me. I would ring again and say your vision is affected, lay it on thick! X

it might be blepharitis. You could try a warm clean cloth on it as that's supposed to calm it down.

I've tried everything! I've put flannels over my eye and my Mum told me to put a cold teabag on it? That didn't work either. My bf has said to ring back the doctors and say it's not better and I need it looked at so im gonna do that

I had a blood test this morning, thought I had done well but could feel myself getting hotter then I turned and looked at the amount taken. Pretty sure I closed my eyes for a second but when I opened them again wondered where the hell I was!
Then another nurse came to check on me “Do you usually react this way?” I hadn’t had a blood test in a few years. I don’t think my track record of passing out having a finger prick test was a good one.

I didn’t get my side effects until that night (probably around midnight) hardly slept all night but then after a lie in I started to feel ok the following afternoon. Plenty of fluids and paracetamol x

Don’t know if it helps but it’s called E consult where I am on the Wirral.....the nurse told me it’s easier to use that as the drs have to reply within 48 hours rather than the receptionist fob you off saying there’s no appointments....

Afternoon beauties

My naked Monday didn't happen but i have cleaned and hoovered every room in the house and managed a 2hr animal crossing blitz.

The kids and husband being out is amazing. Just about to chill with a cuppa and a superstore episode before school pick up.

@watermelon sugar if it’s gets worse and your doctors doesn’t do anything you can just turn up at the eye hospital at the Royal I’ve been there a few times and they’re great.
