Happy Birthday Watermelon Sugar!

I'm still a bit bleary eyed this morning, you might have noticed, got my second cup of coffee in hand!
Still getting over yesterday, riding around totally soaking wet most of the day has really screwed me up.
Bloody weather forecast, would be great if it was reliable but sadly it's far from reliable.

I will not be doing much today, I was due to go out but there are workmen next door and they are
working on the roof so the driveway is blocked, no drama, it wasn't important. So now I'm just going
to relax, get rid of the headache I have and catch up on my medical drama's.

My best friend is coming to stay for the weekend and I am soooo excited!! Going for a spa treatment this afternoon then dinner and cocktails out tonight.

Didn't sleep very well last night (no surprise there) but the morons running up and down the corridor in the hotel did not help. It was nice to spend some time other than my own bedroom though. Seeing an ex work colleague in the afternoon which will be nice. My mum is beginning to really get on my nerves because I said I think he may seeing someone and she said something on the lines of "so what if he is he doesn't want or love you and some men (and women) do move on very quick" I ended up having a panic attack just from thinking about it. I hate how I am incapable of helping myself at the moment.

I think enough is enough and I need to try and take some control because it's consuming me but I'm concerned that I am going to do something stupid. Is it ok for me to message him (even though I replied back to his message at the start of the week) and demand my things by a certain date at a specific location even though he said he will let me know about meeting in a few weeks? I don't even know how to word it because some of the things are quite sensitive and personal but can the wise people on this thread please help me out.

ALSO is it possible to quote posts from the previous closed thread or no?

SO I’m finally alone lol. You know when you go through a breakup then end up with someone else and realise how shite your ex was 😭😂 I feel like I needed last night to finally draw a line under it all.

We went for a Starbucks and the plan was just to have a chat for a few hours, we’d literally said nothing is going to happen but let’s catch up. Obvs we used to fancy each other so there was mad sexual tension whilst I was sippin me cookies and cream frap. He’s just proper my time (I’m 6ft so someone who is 6’6 is a big yesssss from me). He was all “should we go watch a film” an in my head I was all oi oi I know where this is going but played it cool as a cucumber 😎

We put on yesterday and was havin a bit of an ol cuddle whilst it was on and a cuddle led to a kiss which just very quickly escalated😭😂 feel like we had soooo much tension built up from when we used to speak an never did anything so it all just came out last night😂😂

Had a very very good night and Mr Rugby Player is very bloody fit.

I did it! I finished cleaning!

It wasn't a total tip but my mood had got the better of me so it wasn't good enough for the inspection on Monday but I'm happy enough with it now. Time to relax and enjoy the rest of the weekend and try and not panic too much about it. I've never had a HMO council inspection before, can anyone help me out? I guess they'll just come in and check that the window opens, there's a lock on the door, that there's heating and it isn't covered in mould?


@Hope96 - I'm not sure how to phrase a text but I had a quick google and it said that if you contact your local CAB they might be able to help you work out how to phrase it so that it's clear and above board.

@watermelon sugar - I assumed it was just national watermelon day but I've checked and that's on the 3rd August so I didn't realise it was your real birthday :LOL: Happy birthday! Enjoy your day out!

Hello!

Back home from a glorious week away. Weather was amazing and I’ve tanned a bit! Swam every day, did a long coastal walk with my little bro and drank and ate like crazy so a much needed detox is In order.

I’m on load number 2 in the washing machine and have another 3 to do. I’ve stripped the beds and am sorting all the chores out so we can chill and watch the masked dancer later (total trash but little ‘un loves it).

Once he’s asleep later my new fella is coming over for a visit 😉 looking forward to that.

I’m currently sat in the pub! Haha proper little old man pub right in the city centre. Love a wee pub lunch. Pint of Heverlee and scamp and chips.
Then will do some more shopping and spend all the money I don’t have to spend and worry about that at another point :ROFLMAO:
Then I’m going to my mums later to do her nails for her and have a few drinks.
watching my cat on cat cam asleep on the sofa. Sometimes I wish she was a little dog and I could take her with me. But I won’t be gone that long and she had a mad morning sprinting round the house like something possessed so she’s bound to be out cold for a few hours the little maniac.
anyone else get guilt when then leave their babies?

Happy birthday Ms Sugar 🎂🍉 and hello everyone 😘

Yesterday was good, I've really enjoyed my first week at my new job. Had a few interviews to conduct so got on with them. One lady was painfully nervous but the hiring manager wanted to give her a shot. It's nice to see he saw through her nerves. She kept going "I'm an inspiration because I'm an inspiration" I cringed and stopped taking notes until she got back to the question. I feel her pain 😔

I'm also loving how honest I can be and how everyone seems pretty laid back and like me!! The HR lady lives super close to me and is dropping me into the office every time we have to go in. Made me feel so guilty but she insists its okay. I'll get her a massive vanilla latte I think to say thanks ❤ then after work we had a McDonald's takeaway and chilled out.

I'm booking an intense driving course up North for September and I actually can't wait. I've struggled to get lessons again since the lifting of lockdown so my SIL or dad are going to fund it for me (I feel like an utter spoilt brat) I think my dad wants to help out now I'm an adult as he couldn't when we were all kids. It's a long depressing story, and my SIL tends to throw money at things to make them happen. I love her and my dad and don't want to have to pick 😭 #firstworldbratproblems.

Anyway, woke up today and sat around watching gameplay videos before deciding to go out. I've picked up 4 beers and a sandwich from waitrose and I'm currently sat on this huge open common in my little corner of shade chillin'. Pilchy is at work and when he gets back we might go to b&m. Idk yet but tonight will be the usual ps4, TV and smokeyyyy ❤
