What do you order from the Chinese takeaway?!

I’m being treated to a Chinese tonight, I tend not to be very adventurous and stick to my Singapore style nice noodles.
Though the last time I had it, I wasn’t very impressed. As devastating as that was, it’s got me thinking; do I dare risk it again or try something new?!
What are your favourites to order from the Chinese?

Crispy chilli beef, crispy seaweed and prawn crackers. I'll sound like a complete nana, but when I get home I have one of the microwaveable pouches of brown rice to go with it, because the egg fried rice with all that fried stuff is just too much, and I'm buggered if I'm paying £3 for boiled rice.

With company, I always add crispy duck though - my favourite. Essentially, anything crispy is good in my book

Beef fried rice, salt and pepper chips and curry sauce. I don't have Chinese often as it's so hard to find a decent Chinese near me and the ones I have used have been so inconsistent!

I rarely eat Chinese food but tend to get roast Duck in plum sauce if it's a takeaway.

Or if sharing with husband it’s beef chow mein, beef curry, rice and chips cos we’re fatties

Occasionally salt and chilli chicken (and get a tub of s&s sauce on the side)
Honey chilli chicken

But the Chineses near us are somewhat dodgy so we don’t get it much as have to go quite far. I once found a dead daddy long legs in my meal, and next time we gave that place a shot I got someone’s hair. And the other one close to us is just gross, everything is watery.

Our chinese does a salt and pepper munchbox. It is like a big pizza sized box stuffed full with a variety of salt and pepper bits (chicken, chips, spring rolls, chicken wings, spare ribs, beef) ooooh could just stuff it in my fave right now.

Could eat chinese every day.

Our local chinese restaurant do a chinese set menu thing think it is about £25 but that includes all drinks, desserts, coffee etc.... and the amount of food is unbelievable and they ask if you want extra dishes. Love the garlic chicken and the hot shredded beef.

Bloody hell could talk chinese food all night.

Cook it at home a lot too, I watch a chinese cookery channel on you tube and they do easy takeaway recipes and I really like the guy and his mum too who helps (Ziangs food workshop). I dont think they are high end chinese recipes more your usual takeout meals.

Drooling at the thought, we actually had it last night and were saying today how good it was and we could both eat it again tonight but then decided they would defo judge us so I cooked
