Rob Madge announced as the latest Emcee. I must say that I’m happy for him. Won’t get to see his performance as I’m based in Australia and I’m next in London in December.

Not one for me, I find that Rob Madge always plays Rob Madge whatever the show, and is incapable of much else. Maybe that works for the Emcee, I'm happy to let others go and see and report back.
Wish they would bring back Mason Alexander Park, the absolute GOAT of Emcee!
I dont get the hype around Rob Madge. I dont think they are a strong singer at all. Youre spot on, i think whoever they play, they are the same. Similar to Hannah Lowther. Which us interesting as they acted together as children…
With Hannah Dodd (Francesca in Bridgeton) as Sally Bowles making her west end debut. Think I would rather see Eva Noblezada on Broadway
Yeah don't get the Rob Mudge fuss at all. It's like everyone went mad over the one person show, and have decided Robs a star but reality very average talent

Not heard the song, but they always seemed a very odd couple. Dean seems much more into your Love Island type, and has a high opinion of himself considering his modest CV and average talent. I'm not much of a fan of Cynthia but I can imagine Dean being like that which is awful for anyone.
I enjoyed it much more than I thought it would. I am not a fan of KT Tunstall so was worried I wouldn’t like the songs but they were good
The script is word for word like the film which can be off putting at times as you know the joke before it comes (or it shows I have probably watched it too many times)
not big KT Tunsta;ll fan either and one song by Thai sounded exactly like a KT Tunstall song
i cant imagine what that must have been like because I reckon she has a high opinion of herself too
i hadn't heard of Mason til i saw Much Ado but i can imagine this was an amazing performance of the role

so basically acting advice here is to play every villain as stereotypically over dramatic camp??? Bloke needs to go back and study
also he's got that classic Disney plus knack of making things look less appealing in ads and putting you off
I wish he was doing ott dramatic camp. At least that would be something, there's barely any difference between his villain and his hero

While I love that they have cast a POC as Rose, why did it have to be Hiba Elchike? I saw her as Jasmine in Aladdin in Australia and she wasn’t great — very pitchy. Theatre friends agreed with me. Has anyone seen her in anything recently, has she improved?
