Full show of Les Mis, from London 1999. I feel this was when the production was best. There has been a lot cut out since, and the turn table is no more along with different orchestrations. So I'm really glad the show in what I feel is its true form has been preserved. It's not proshot but the next best thing. I love this cast and I've watched this recording too many times.

I too was so so sad about the turn table going from les Mis, my husband has never seen it and I’m so sad he won’t see it with that in now.

I saw Wicked with Kerry Ellis as Elphaba the first time I saw it on the West End (now seen it 4 times, once on Broadway!)

the last show I saw before every thing shut was Everybody’s Talking About Jamie which was good, loved the songs but they story was just okay.

Was meant to see Six and Come From Away this year but we’re cancelled, hoping I can in 2021.

Think my all time fave will always be rocky horror though.

After being obsessed with the Six soundtrack for the past year I managed to go see the performance Sunday night and it was even better in person. It worked well with Covid regulations too, everyone wore a mask and was seated, and socially distanced. I'm hoping theatre can open up a bit more next year.

Had the unbelievable luck to watch John Owen Jones as the Phantom when I first saw Phantom of the Opera. Nobody has surpassed him since, at least for me. Ramin Karimloo is wonderful but JOJ hits the spot so right, his voice was something sublime, especially live. Unfortunately the only recordings of him I can find online are either from the 25th Anniversary post-show gathering or from the TV show appearances.

Despite loving the film Chicago, the actual musical never entertained me the same way. 😬 I know it'll be a blasphemy for Broadway purists.

So far all the Ursulas I've seen online in Ariel have been atrocious, I can't even apologise. I wish they'd do a proper production with Queen Latifah. I also think they slept on Titus Burgess for the role. 😂 Such a fun take on it.

I love Chicago too. I've seen it a few times on stage and nothing beats the first time which was on Broadway - since then it's not had the same impact. Incredible movie though.

Wicked is my favourite musical. I've seen it 17 times (which is nothing compared to some fans out there) but believe me when I say if I lived closer to London I'd have seen it far more often!

Recently I'm loving the soundtracks for Mean Girls and Beetlejuice.

I finally got to see The Lion King when it returned to Edinburgh in January this year, it was fantastic!

My all time favourite has to be Rock of Ages but I do prefer the movie.

Others I have seen in Scotland are Ghost, Hairspray and The Bodyguard.

Seen Phantom of The Opera on Broadway in New York which was amazing.

Beetlejuice is one of my favourite newer (as in, the last five/ten years) shows. Normally I'm more into the older classics but Beetlejucie is enormous fun even just via watching a crappy bootleg. Alex Brightman is sensastional but the whole cast are a joy.

COME FROM AWAY! It is AMAZING...I cannot recommend it enough. It has highs, lows...amazing music. It's so funny. I've seen it four times, the last was the weekend before lockdown in March. Absolutely brilliant.

I want to bring this thread back to life if possible. Because I saw Moulin Rouge! in the West End, and I'm obsessed with the soundtrack (Broadway), was such a great show. And I just feel sad that I don't think I will get to see the show again. But I really want to.

I seen evita in Glasgow years ago as a ex student at our stageschool was the lead an it was my first time ever getting to see anything an loved it, also been to see wicked at Edinburgh which was amazing an while in New York my mate took me to see phantom of the opera, the set of that blew me away

Trying to decide whether to go see wicked in London in a few weeks. I want to go but I’ll be alone, I don’t mind going alone, but it’s the going back to where I’m staying after. I don’t know if I’d be safe, I’m sure I’ll be fine getting the tube but then it’s an 8min walk from the station to my accommodation
