My Nanna used to dip toast and butter into her tea. It would leave a thick film of grease on top of the cup of tea which she would then proceed to let go cold and drink
I love a crumpet with marmite, topped with peanut butter then grated cheese following which, I whack it under the grill for a few minutes. Game Changer. It has to be in that particular order too.
Another weird combination is gingerbread topped with cheese. Yes, I love cheese.

That sounds like it would be a very sloppy sandwich!
I really like plain rice with melted butter
.I had a friend who was visiting London for the first time and took her for an afternoon tea. In her home country it is considered rude to leave food, so she insisted on finishing everything we were given and ended up putting chutney on scones and jam on a Branston pickle sandwich She seemed to enjoy it though, I've found very little that she won't eat

I only do this at home obviously but if I'm having a pastry (like eclair, paris brest etc.) I like eating parmesan cheese or a similar hard salty cheese with it to cut through the sweetness. I don't know how terrible this is but I like it
