I thought it was only prescribed for those with type 2 diabetes? It’s not available in NI for WL as it can only be issued through a weight management clinic of which there are none.
Anyone know of other injection clinics? Where you go weekly to be injected?

Do you know how much a pen is through my best weight? I managed to get a 1mg pen from a friend visiting Turkey but it cost €360.

Yes my friend goes there for Oz it’s just a bit of a trek for me to get there. I thought with the pen I could perhaps make it last a bit longer than 4 weeks by doing a lower dosage.
They dont supply only give a prescription. You need to find a chemist who has it and will supply it to you. cost anywhere from €140 to €200. Supply awful though.
Saxenda available but I don't know much about it
It’s easy to get a script
But no supply!
That’s why I’m thinking I might go to that clinic where they do it for you - maybe 3-4 months to get me started consistently

How is your friend finding the clinic?
I’m not looking for it ,I’m only familiar because a Tiktoker I watch was obsessed with getting it she looked into all the availability in UK / Eire but was refused through the Uk weight management programme because she had an ED dispite being over 30st , Boots inform your GP as far as I know so she couldn’t purchase through them and wouldn’t chance buying off the internet.
Oh they said NI so I thought they were talking about Northern Ireland where it's definitely available.
She’s getting on great there lost like 8kg in 6 weeks when she started. Not sure how they are getting supplies of so many pens or what doses they use. It’s a gp surgery also. They take blood pressure, blood sugars, weight and measurements. It can be busy though if you go at peak times as there’s not specific appointment times as such so there could be 10 others ahead of you in the waiting room. I would go there if it wasn’t so far away.
