Wax melts

I'm looking for recommendations for good wax melts. I usually buy the Yankee ones but I'm so bored of them and would love to try some new ones. There's 3 million different companies out there on insta etc so would love some actual recommendations from people who have tried them

I know a lady who makes the absolute best melts, her company is called Molly and Me and the melts are amazing. I'm a huge melt fan have tried them all and love my Yankees but these one have to be smelled to be believed.
What sort of scents do you like, I usually go for a gourmand.
Sainsburys do their own brand melts, very cheap and cheerful the linen is lovely.

I love either really fresh smelling like a sherbet lemon or clean linen type or a strong perfume type. In yankee I always seem to go for stoney cove, cosy up or luxurious cashmere but I'm so bored of them

I think you would enjoy lemongrass from that company I mentioned but they're all amaze.
I have never tried any of those scents from Yankee, I've had a lot of hits and misses from them, particularly with candles. I had warm cashmere and warm desert sand which didn't throw at all.
I usually stick with lemon and lavender in both the melts and candles, especially coming into spring.
If you shop in tescos they have yankee melts in a pack, I just looked but I must have run out, I wanted to give you the names. They are very nice.

Have you tried you the 3 for £5 ones in Asda?

It sounds like you enjoy simular scents to me. You would definitely like their "Ecru Linen". I try so many insta/ebay ones but always go back to these!

You would 100% love the Asdas "Clean Laundry" - it is linen with a lemon undertone.

I echo the Asda's 3 for £5 ones, I burned them over and over and they lasted a week. I contacted their site over in America to order some but they don't ship here yet I know that this answer isn't very helpful, but I find Yankee wax melts and the Asda ones the best so far and last well for the money. All other soy wax melts have been poor and lasted strong for only one burn.

The packaging looks cheap but they are more superior than any other wax melt I have tried, even Yankee. Very strong and last ages.

Devon wick are good, I'm currently burning their magic medicine one it smells like calpol, been on almost non stop since Weds and still smelling strong!
Avon are bringing some out, the first ones were a bit to floral for me but looking forward to their fresh cotton ones!

Home bargains ones are rit and not worth the money at all.

I thought the same but I gave the B&M ones a go and got the Jo Malone inspired scents to try. Absolutely beautiful £1.50 for about 12 lemon basil and mandarin scents really really love them.
my friend has set up her own wax melts now they are ok for the first two hours after that the smell goes and they are just a waste of money and wax. I won’t get them again.

Great thread, I love wax melts, candles, home fragrance!

I buy some from Home Bargains! They’re 29p in a little plastic pot but they are so strongly scented! I had some Christmas ones from Yankee Candle over Christmas and I couldn’t really smell them.

My friend recommended me to an online shop called Tracy Melts - they do dupes of perfume etc.

I really like Smith and Kennedy. Their aloe Vera/cucumber and Invictus scents are my current favourites.

I find Devon Wick really strong for the first burn and any other burns I can barely smell, baring in mind I have 6 burners in my flat lol to cover all the rooms The only one of theirs that lasted strong for two burns was Cranberry Fizz. Their room sprays are lovely. Cosy aromas is about the same for me, mind you some scents last a little longer than others. The pots are a bit expensive each at £5.99 but they're large at 110g. I don't seem to have much luck with soy wax, even though it's better with no chemicals etc.

Has anyone experimented with fragrance diffusers and oils, I've got a few and enjoy them.
One of my favourite wax melts is by a company called bridgewater candle company, the fragrance is Sweet Grace, smells like Angel perfume. They do a car fragrance which is super strong in the same scent. I've also had luck with a company called Heart and Home.
I like the asda melts previously mentioned too.
Recently I've been burning incense in various scents both the cones and sticks.

Oh and I use electric tart warmers they are so handy.

Just picked up some of the asda melts. I got a pack of the molten orange...wow. they smell unreal!! So fresh and citrusy without being too overpowering.
I can smell it all over and its only been burning for about half an hour

I'm not sure, but they smell gorgeous on a first burn and I love the glitter in them and that it's biodegradable. By the way, not sure if you got one but with my order I got a discount code voucher Wax10 you may like to use.

When I used to smoke pot I found adding a couple of drops of Lemon Eucalyptus oil into a burning wax melt hid the unwanted odour.
