Wales 20mph speed limit changes

Just been reading up on this ridiculous upcoming change I'm in South Wales and couldn't remember exactly when it comes into place. Turns out it's next month, yay.

Apparently the fire brigade are being roped into it to provide roadside educational nonsense rather than prosecution for people who are not "excessively" over the speed limit, though haven't actually defined what that means.

I'm sure the fire brigade have far better uses of their time, resources and money than to spend it catching pesky people driving 22mph

MEH anyway, just wondered what people's thoughts are and I'm open to hearing any opinions that counter it being nothing but a cash cow for ol' Drakey and his pals

Slowly but surely it's happening everywhere. I personally hate it IMO its to create more traffic jams so they bring in more rules so that fewer and fewer people will be able to afford to drive.

Its the worse idea ever - Dickford needs to be sorting the Welsh NHS out instead of these insane idea
