I did a search because I thought there might be something on this topic but didn’t find anything- sorry if I’m doubling up!
Over the past year the occasional cheeky cig has become, um, less occasional. In brief, this has to stop. I don’t think cold turkey will work for me- husband and colleagues smoke- and I don’t think patches or gum would be right for me as it’s the habit of popping out for one as much as the act itself. I got an e cigarette and it gave me a roaring headache!
I really dislike the sweetie smell of most vapes. I did find a company that does more natural sounding flavours (lavender, chamomile etc) but they seem pricey. Any recommendations anyone? Or, any alternative suggestions in light of the above? I and my health thank you in advance!x

What about a menthol flavour?

I think menthol would be my default too!
I might be looking for the moon on a stick but I’d ideally like one that’s not too....smoky?! As in the big cloud that forms?!

Too smokey 😂😂 I know what you mean, different devices give off bugger clouds or something but I'm like just give me the nicotine!!! How much do you smoke a day? The nicotine strength would depend on that. I've been on the ecigs for about 8yrs now.

I just got one of those cheap pens from the factory shop. 88 vape, they work and smoke fine and the clearomisers are only a pound each. They dont give off massive clouds of smoke. The liquids arent bad either i use a raspberry 6mg and mix it with a menthol. The only thing is the thread on the pen goes after a while , but for 6.99 you can just get a new one. They also do it in asda, and poundland theres nothing wrong with it. I dont think its worth spending loads on it.

The only pen I’ve ever found that stopped me smoking (I tried every single one going) was Vype pens. The infused vanilla cartridges in either a 6 mg or 12mg. They’re not sickly sweet and gave me the hit at the back of my throat that no others seemed to. They have loads of different flavours and don’t produce those big clouds that bigger vapes do. You might be getting a headache if the nicotine strength is too high. I know I used to. I loved smoking and had a fag a good few months back and found I really didn’t like them anymore.

Was finally able to stop smoking two years ago, started with a juul which was good (not smoky at all and mango/tobacco flavours not too sweet at all) but it got really expensive. I use a smok nord now which I find not too smoky, I stick with a fruit flavoured(flavoured?) nicotine salts liquid. Not too expensive either. Can’t stand anything desert flavoured and sickly sweet either. It’s been good! Couldn’t touch a cig now

I just wanted to add, whatever you pick, buy two because you will need one to smoke while you are charging.

Currently vaping with a disposable elf bar. The disposable element is really annoying me. Bought a vape that can be recharged and filled but the liquid isn't as nice as the elf bar. Any recommendations?

Vapes are super addictive. I started on them when I was having a hard time and they are ridiculously hard to stop.

I’d stay away from them.

On a vape oil that is similar to the ElfBar?

I want to buy some elfbars but will have to have them delivered to work - has anyone ordered from the elfbar website and do they come in discreet packaging?

Have you ever had them before? If not I wouldn’t touch them. They are beyond addictive.

Anyone know how to quit them? 😅

I used an elfbar when I quit smoking, then I quit vaping around 3 weeks ago went down for a month to 0% nicotine. So was easy to quit

I’m totally addicted to them in a really short space of time (ex smoker). I’m planning to move down to the 10mg then the nicotine free 🤞🏼

I started them 6 months ago but I haven’t been able to stop except for a week when I had covid. I buy two at a time and run straight to the shop the second it runs out 😂

Just bought one of those disposable 600 puff Elux vapes. Not vaped in ages after fully giving in to smoking over the summer so it's bit weird so far. Hoping I can kick these soon and just have nothing

Such a similar story! Although slightly less time. I started vaping randomly in December when going through a stressful time and now I’m totally addicted 😭😭😭 today is day 1 of quitting and I’m just so annoyed and upset at myself. Nearly 40 and I decide to throw a nicotine addiction into the mix 😩 could slap my December self.
