I don't think you will need a passport. I flew from Manchester to London a few years ago, pre Brexir and didn't need a passport. I tldont think you need one for domestic flights.

you need ID if checking in luggage. Check the airline - I think a few accept a driving licence.

I'm thinking of doing a Scotland road trip with my dog next summer, camping. Long time away but I like.to plan in advance. I'll be leaving from Manchester just wondering if anyone had suggestions on places I should go? I'd like to go to the Isle of Skye but I'd been to stop a few times on the way. I also remember seeing pictures of a beautiful beach but can't remember the name if anyone has Scottish beach recommendations 
I’ve just got back from a holiday in Scotland, I stayed in North Kilbride and had views of the Isle of Arran. The coastline around there is beautiful, I think there are nicer beaches, but loon is nice. I’d definitely visit that area and Wemyss Bay, you can get the ferry over to the Isle of Bute and stop there for a night or two and I think you can catch a ferry over to the highlands form Bute.I'm thinking of doing a Scotland road trip with my dog next summer, camping.
