Footballers Wives too! Actually that might be much better these days with social media and influencer culture and they could do a Wagatha Christie storyline :D

Taggart, not sure why it ended as thought it had strong viewing numbers. I loved the dark humour and filming round Glasgow especially as I no longer live there all added to it.

A very niche pick here but As If on T4, I loved it so much growing up and would love something with a similar vibe now! Although I feel it was very of it’s time tbh.

dinnerladies is my ultimate comfort TV show. 16 episodes of comedy TV perfection. Personally it's Victoria Wood's finest work for me. A stunning blend of comedy, but also great characters, good plots and storylines woven through. And it was more than just a sitcom. It's was a work of art. So many of the jokes had multiple layers to them they were so cleverly crafted.

Goodnight Sweetheart so deserved to have another series, after the one off episode in 2016, but the BBC didn't comission a new series. Instead they commisoned a reboot of Porridge, which was terrible. It was one of the biggest mistakes that the BBC ever made.
By all accounts the cast were keen to make a new series, but it never happened.
I understand that there is going to be a novel published, tying up the loose ends of the show. It won't be the same though. ☹

Some of the 90s gameshows like Supermarket Sweep, Remote Control and Don't Forget Your Toothbrush. Even more modern ones like The Wall, although that's maybe a few years old now.

The Clothes Show could make a comeback, too.

I loved Lark Rise to Candleford and Cranford. What I really miss is only being able to watch 1 episode a week rather than streaming and watching back to back episodes but maybe that's a result of being alive when Who shot JR was a thing and we all had to wait for a new season. It kept us entertained for months while we were waiting.
My friend and I would call each other as soon as the credits rolled to discuss.
