I think her and Chris are finished too
The worst was years ago when she did a steak tutorial. She bunged the steak in the frying pan no seasoning and then started making oxo roast potatoes?!

Yes ADHD and Autism are both neurological but I genuinely think he was just batting a fly. He seems far too ‘connected’ to have Autism. I think the bad school behavior can’t be helped by the bad diet and (from what I’ve observed) really early to bed boring nights and possible ultra controlling parenting. For some kids school is the only place to let off steam. I have a feeling tan is highly temperamental and those boys probably have to tread on egg shells around her.
Autism is an umbrella diagnosis and a wide variety of symptoms you don't need to be " unconnected " it looked like a "tic" to me .she has said Corby suffers terrible with anxiety and panic attacks ,and he has had an ADHD formal diagnosis .I have family members on different levels of the spectrum I also know someone who is married with a child is a social worker and a very successful Author he also is on the Autistic spectrum ...When my nephew has a " meltdown " outside my sister gets funny looks ,people think he's just a spoilt brat and needs taken in hand because he's so badly behaved ,because he looks " normal " they don't see he's non verbal ,still in nappies and has severe additional needs (he's 7 ) I never judge a book by it's cover..

Steak, carrot broccoli and cauliflower (veg medley) and oxo roasties lol looked so dry I'd be like a cat coughing up a furball!

I remember the turkey pizza melts as well.. I followed the recipe to a T (yes don't judge me. I followed SW at the time lol), and it was soooo tough! Even my husband couldn't eat it and he would eat whatever I give him, bland or not (especially if I forgotten to season it throughout)

I have a daughter with cerebral palsy and autism so i do understand. I’ve been watching her channel for years and I personally don’t see any red flags for autism. Even it were a tic adhd can present with tics, that’s when it’s called Tourette’s. I don’t think we see enough of corby to start diagnosing autism because it’s such a complex condition and many of the traits can just be personality traits. I’m pretty sure my grandfather would be diagnosed if he were born today with the vast spectrum it is judged upon.

Yes I agree, but we didn't see any ADHA flags either ,we don't know how he acts . It's just you said he's too connected that doesn't mean a thing ,Ann Hegerty ( The chase) is autistic I wouldn't say she's " Unconnected " she's a brain of Britain and very comfortable in front of an audience everyone on the spectrum is different ..

I work in an area where we make referrals to specialists to assess for autism and adhd, mostly at parents request, which is enough to get a referral even if school don’t have any concerns, and sometimes am gobsmacked when a diagnosis is made, they just seemed like your average kids to me!

As I’ve already mentioned my daughter has cp and autism due to a genetic defect. She suffers daily, there is always a disconnect with autism. It’s a social and communication disorder, if they have no issues with either then it’s not autism. Sometimes it’s very mild, like minor issues with understanding a train of conversation. Being ‘disconnected’ doesn’t mean they have no social skills or a mental impairment, as you should know mildly effected people have the ability to learn how to be sociable and present themselves well, particularly females. That’s why as children the symptoms are often more obvious such as lack of imaginary play skills or eye contact. As they grow older, just like everybody they make progress.
I think you’re missing the point I was making.

Corby has issues is the point I was making ..He has problems controlling himself around people and things(social ) he can't concentrate on anything she said he has problems expressing himself and gets frustrated if I remember right Tan said they got the quad as a " focus " for him to express himself that way ..He's just not badly behaved he has problems..

But not every behavioral issue is Autism. He doesn’t even have severe adhd or other otherwise tan would absolutely need him to be medicated as a matter of urgency. I’ve seen severe adhd and there’s no way they can attend mainstream school. The same with autism and if it is worse then I suspect then it’s all been off camera and hidden very well.

I didn't say he had Autism I said he could have ,and as far as she's said he is to be medicated . The rainbow centre wanted him medicated it was Tan herself was against it ,but now she's come round to the idea as she feels it's best for him as he's struggling at school and his work was suffering ..He was falling behind ..

Yes I agree. There’s girl in my middle daughters school who has a diagnosis and she’s fine and thriving. Her mum whom I quite friendly with in the playground tells me she isn’t effected by her autism, she was diagnosed based on her lack of speech as a toddler. Her mum in all honesty has some issues herself, she has apparent ME, eldest son has adhd, None of them work, but are all on disability benefits and take regular holidays etc. she’s even managed to get a grant for a sensory room for her daughter. She fought for an ehcp for 2 years, whereas my daughter who is genuinely effected had It within 6 weeks. I think if it doesn’t effect them in any way then it’s not worth the label.

They always suggest medication. If he had autism they would have diagnosed him with autism. It’s really not that hard to spot in a person.

My God that statement alone is appalling I'm sorry about your daughter that goes to any parent with a child with extra needs ,but to make out a parent labels their child so they can claim disability benefits is disgusting there's many parents struggle for years before they seek help, most as a last resort .It's not for you to judge what's genuine or not that's up to the professionals..

Very true ! Ann Hegerty wasn't diagnosed till she was 45 there's so much been learned about the spectrum now ..

Bloody hell, it’s never ending for her at the moment. I honestly think she should give Youtube a break for a bit, her heart isn’t in it and looks like she totally can’t be arsed. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is on medication looking at her x

It’s really rubbish content , and half arsed . Even her voice is monotone , like she can’t be bothered to speak. Understandably of course, if she’s feeling low - but she probably would feel better if she didn’t bother .

Bless her , she is going through it. Although I do remember when her dad passed away she mentioned multiple times throughout it all that there were no other family on that side really and that it were all down to Tan to organise everything regards her dad and that she had no support, and everyone were asking why her mum wasn't helping as her only other line of support. It awful but she can't have been that close to them if they weren't in the picture much or support Tan with her Dad's arrangements.
