All of the Mcfly men make me cringe, genuinely think they’re all repulsive. Find it so embarrassing that these grown ass men sing their little pop songs on stage and don’t wake up to the fact they’re past it and will never have their glory days again sorry I know there are some fans here - just my opinion!

I agree to an extent, things like MTA that make me cringe massively but they’re mainly a nostalgia band now like Westlife, Take That, Busted etc. who will still sell records and tours but newer music from all is very much “meh” compared to their heyday.

They may be “past it” popularity wise but I wouldn’t say it’s embarrassing, they are still great live (I won’t go now as they’re greedy) and who knows what the future holds for them. But music is very personal so you can’t knock people for enjoying music you don’t like.

McFly's biggest problem is they always release their shittiest songs as singles meaning only the old guard will buy them. I listened to their latest album and it was a huge meh but they had a couple of album tracks that would have done really well given that 1) Radio 2 promoted them like mad over the summer and 2) the likes of Ed Sheeran release bland pop every year and do well (no hate on Ed, I'm partial to one or two of his songs)

Agree. They are just a crappy kids band. In the same vein as Little Mix or One Direction are. Banal thoughtless music made for kids who don’t know any better and choreographed by a team of PR specialists. There’s nothing organic or authentic about any of it.

I think McFly are talented but wouldn’t really get much attention if they started now but back then they were massive and I have my nostalgia glasses when it comes to McFly, busted etc.

But it’s not just the music now it’s social media and it shows their flaws a lot more than back in the day, and I’m glad they still put on a good show but yeah sometimes I cringe when they act “punk” or “rock and roll”, they’ve done some shady stuff, charge for total access or whatever it’s called and I heard it’s pretty tit for how expensive it is, they could really break the mould and do something different if they wanted too. And Toms attitude is getting on my tits

Not the mention you have to deal with the wives as well as the kids when you become a fan of McFly these days and with the amount of ads they do and all that is just annoying so they don’t help

I absolutely loved both McFly and Busted back in the day, their songs bring back a lot of memories but I don't think they stand the test of time. None of them would ever be released today, they're hardly timeless, they were very 'of the moment' and thats fine. I kinda wish they would recognise that the moment has passed and stop flogging a dead horse. I guess at least Tom has diversified in that respect!

I went to see Matt Willis in the UK tour of Waitress recently and he was brilliant, he's obviously very talented. They're all getting too old for jumping about in boy bands.

In my humble opinion, McFly/Busted (I can’t tell the difference as the bland faces and bland music all blur into one) are tit…..just like Tom’s dancing. But not as crappy as the current state of what is going on with them!

Gi makes me want to rip my eyes out and set fireworks off in my ears…how has she been cast in a play, she knows it’s not all fake cutesy right?! Or is the play a bit tit too??

she’s just this boring, non descript, dull woman. There’s nothing to her; no personality, no fire, no opinion, no spark, no charisma, nothing. She’s just like a cardboard cutout. She needs someone to grab her by the shoulders and shake her - ignite something in her, wake her up.
