Does anyone know anyone who actually plays professional football? TikTok seems to be full of mums who have husbands or partners who play football and claim they have no support, their husband is always at work etc. I can understand that on match days but surely they’re not working more than a standard 40 hour week like most people do?! A lot of them aren’t even at top clubs so I can’t imagine there’s loads of press work to be taking up their time during the week.

I work closely with our local team. League 2, but all of our players are professional.
They tend to train Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Wednesday & Sunday off. Saturdays are obvs match days, and some Tuesday nights.
If we have an away game, the team will travel the night before, so potentially away Monday & Friday nights usually.
Training is usually 9.30ish till 4.30ish and then most will do an hour or so in the Gym afterwards, so its not so different from your normal 9-5 job tbh, just with different dats off.
Press is usually the day before a match or on the day of the match, so they are normal working days. They are all contracted to 5 "community" events a month - so could be going into a school, or grass roots club for an hour or two. That could be during the day, or of an evening, but its 5 times a month!
They are no harder done to than most other SAHM's based on my experience.
That’s interesting, thank you. And I guess most of them have a salary to be able to outsource a lot of the home jobs. Certainly someone like Emily Elizabeth’s husband which I noticed she’s never mentioned until someone asked in the comments whether she had a cleaner and she admitted she does.

To be fair I was getting quite bored of her constantly moaning about being a working mum, wanting another baby and not being able to afford it. She’s always wearing new adanola, just moved to a massive new build, booking holidays and having Botox/filler and using expensive skincare. I feel like she is just SO negative

Her life is also not influencing me because I absolutely could not be doing those long days in London
Exactly! She literally said not too long ago she cancelled a holiday because it was too expensive! Why book it then? She can’t say she’s ready for another baby but they have no money when she’s always booking holidays and out spending money.
