I know I can read reviews online but thought i’d post here too. I’m looking for a new phone + contract and they’re much more affordable through third parties like mobiles.co.uk, fonehouse and mobile phones direct. Has anyone got a contract through these and has there been any issues?

I just recently got a new contract through fonehouse (Only last Monday) Ordered Saturday, arrived Monday, all good so far. You get a link from the provider as soon as you set the phone up. All good from my end :)

I have previously used affordable mobiles and found that I got a much better deal in comparison to what was on the market elsewhere.

I’m on my second contract with mobiles.co.uk and can’t fault them I believe they’re linked with carphone warehouse. Once I had the phone set up (it’s with Vodafone) you wouldn’t know any different. Got a much better deal than going direct through network and my contract is always up around Black Friday so always get a good price!

If you don't want to change your phone and your contract is coming to an end, you can move to a SIM only contract which saves lots of money.

Many people don't realise that this option is open to them.

I got my phone from affordable mobiles, my contract is with EE. Much better value for money than buying it direct and I’ve never had any issues with it. I even got next day delivery with mine

I used affordablephones! My contracts with EE and I’ve never had any issues. Everytime I’m due an upgrade, I have a look on all the similar websites and find the best deal, then ring up EE and say I want to cancel, wait and see if they’ll match the deal I’ve found online (never do), they end up trying for ages to get me to stay but I never do unless they can match it. Then once the contract is ended, I ordered from the website which usually comes next day!
My mum usually just redoes her contract with whoever she’s been with and assumed they were giving an alright deal until I sorted it out for her and she was shocked at how much of a better deal those websites are

I’m with SMARTY. £10 a month for unlimited calls and texts and 30GB data. Never use anywhere near that much but it’s soooo cheap
