Gorgous home, beautiful family and she does campaign a lot for black rights which I love about her. But why is she always so.....prickly? It's ike she's just constantely got a huge chip on her shoulder and everyone has to walk on eggshells around her for fear of saying the wrong thing by accident.

Out of interest are you black or white and saying this because I think the context matters? As a white woman:

IMO the comments she receives are passive aggressive and the follow up to them always proves their intent! There was no need to mention the council flat other than to “put her in her place” - a genuine comment would have said how lovely for the new family who get to enjoy this space as it’s broad enough to cover all home owners / private tenants / council tenants.

Tbh I have nothing but compassion for (I can’t think of the right word that doesn’t sound patronising but you know like time for, giving leeway to, rooting for, etc etc) a black woman in the interiors/motherhood space because it’s toxic af and she’s doing a good job at reshaping it away from hyper consumption glossy interiors funded by parental wealth. She’s been clear as day putting her boundaries up too so 🤷🏻‍♀️
