Yesterday someone in a Facebook group I'm in mentioned another group called something like "Shower Curtain Gardeners" so I had a nose and it's absolutely batshit. Endless pictures of back gardens decorated with murals using those shower curtains with fake windows and landscapes on them, some indoors as well. And all the comments say "stunning!" etc. It's the strangest thing I have seen in a long time. So it got me thinking, what other weird and wonderful groups are you in, for love or for a laugh?

Another couple I have been in..
This cat is chonky - just fun pictures of fat cats (by their owners)
Frenchic fan forum - this is another full of batshit people painting everything from floors to sofas and then gaslighting each other about it.

I quite like The Bappenings - just dedicated pictures and videos of cats slapping each other. It's a lot more adorable than it sounds!

I went through a stage a few years ago of joining various weird and wonderful FB groups for shits and giggles.

My favourites were (still are):
We Pretend it's 1453 Internet - a group full of lots of historical (mainly medieval) memes and posts declaring outrage about the fall of Constantinople.
A Group where we all pretend to be Boomers. - Satirical group full of millenials who pretend to be elderly. Think this group was created due to the group below 👇
Please Show to Jim!! HA!! HA!! - a group where people share funny and wholesome posts from elderly people who misunderstand modern technology. Most people comment on posts pretending to be elderly themselves. Most members just share things their parents or grandparents have posted on fb. It's funny and sweet in equal measure.

Look forward to seeing other groups shared - I love weird and wonderful FB groups! Its the only reason I have a FB account 😂

I am obsessed with This Is Why I Don’t Do Potlucks. Basically people sharing photos or screenshots that people have shared showing off their food, meanwhile the background is filthy, or the the food is hairy, or the people in the screenshot are breaking all sorts of food safety guidelines. I used to think I was strange for not wanting to eat peoples home cooking or home baking. After this group, I feel like one of many sane people 😂
