Thought I’d start a thread about Emma. I’m stuck in the middle of really liking her and her philosophies on childhood and exploration and living playfully but also thinking she’s a stuck up middle class snob who has absolutely no idea of the real world or struggles because she has everything she could ever want and she’s clearly got a fair bit of money to back it. It’s easy to be “playful” and see life as one big game of happiness, sunshine and rainbows when you’ve got a lot of cash, a big house and don’t have to work and can just nip down to the sea for a splash about every 5 minutes. Anyone?

Just did a search for Emma from playful den on here because I feel pretty much the same way. On one hand I respect that she's built a business and that she has a lot of great ideas/advice (and that a recent ad she did was actually pretty cool- way better than any other influencer crap I've seen) but yeah it's also difficult to follow sometimes as a lot of her lifestyle just isn't relatable- they seem to have shedloads of money and an amazing house etc and it feels a lot tricker to 'live playfully' when actual normal real life stuff gets in the way

I just found this thread… came to see if anyone was feeling a bit ick about some stuff with her. Ive started finding her content very smug… and showy offy and a bit ‘I’m the best parent ever, I’ll tell you what to do’ when I’m not convinced she is. And my god she has so much support which many others don’t have so it’s easy to parent like that and as you say seems to be very well off.
