Its possible. I remember how wild insta was back in 2014/2015 for the SW folk though so it genuinely wouldnt surprise me if a lot were genuine followers.
I have so many in common when I look. She was spoken about in my SW class at the time as she lived local to us.

Has anyone seen the 2nd home Gemma has purchased in Girvan. They seem to be there all the time and never at their actual home or work. I can’t decide if she is living her best life or living like a pensioner!
I think they both work compressed hours so have a 3 day weekend every weekend. Maybe have laptops and can 'WFH' too somedays so could do that from the other house.
Fair play to them, I did wonder what theyd do with the dog when lockdown ended as they were religious about going abroad but they seem to have embraced having the dog and great fun for him all the opportunity for the beach.
I guess they might eventually rent it out on air b&b or something?

I've just caught up with her account, didn't know about the flat. I have to agree, they've really embraced life with their dog and prioritised life with him. Unlike Cheryl (my home is my haven) who got a dog and couldn't get on a plane fast enough as soon as she was able to. Not saying Gemma and Thomas will never want to go abroad again, but they're obviously really happy with their life with the dog. As you say, they work compressed hours, can WFH, aren't tied down with kids and can afford to have bought this flat. Good on them, I hope they enjoy it. If we hadn't had two small people who drain us of as much money as they do sleep, we might have thought about doing the same.

I’m defo on the wrong thread but I really like her, she seems to have calmed down and she just seems dead happy and content with her life. Maybe some of the other Scottish insta huns should take a wee leaf out her book. Xx
Totally agree, for a while she was grabbing everything she could but she seems to have properly reevaluated her life for the better. I do think she almost looks a wee bit sad sometimes.
Agree with both your comments, I think she’s very likeable, not at all fake or annoying like many others. I do wonder what she does outside of work/life with hubby though, I never see any socialising, out with friends etc. Unless she just keeps all that private. But you’d think someone with such a healthy following would still post about places you’d been etc whilst keeping your friends private. Maybe I’ve just not been following enough and seen the posts.

So they don't have another house to go to yet, I'm still baffled why they are moving? To be honest, I was baffled why they moved to that house in the first place, there seemed to be no obvious reason for it. She's spent a lot of time getting this house looking really nice and comfortable for them. I don't get it?
She’s a mortgage adviser so she’ll have seen the money in property just now and will be trying to capitalise on it. They’re maybe trying to release cash to start buying other properties on the coast to rent out Air b&b to create another income. They’ll get a good amount down in South Ayrshire because of the golf scene.
