TLDR
- The great Ingham trek to Nordkapp failed and they had to turn back due to bad weather. They tried again though and got to their destination. They had the webcams turned off because they're big famous Youtubers with many many dangerous, nasty stalkers. Nordkapp is NOT the most northerly point in Europe like Chris likes to believe so there wasn't much point in them going.
- The Inghams took a couple of days off to hardcore drive up through Norway.
- Sarah likes to eat frosties out in the snow (with Jace hovering over her so he can have some too) and the kids like to "eat water" (ice).
- Chris is a vegetarian but has been eating meat on the trip. It's ok through because he took two bites out of a burger (which he ate because he felt sad after visiting the dentist) and put it down because he felt sad. He eats vegetarian 90% of the time but has been seen eating meat 90% of the time on this trip. Confused? So am I.
- Lots of people in the UK got to see the Northern Lights from the comfort of their own homes, so it turns out the Inghams didn't need to go all the way to Norway in the end.
- Sarah called Chris a disgusting man. Jace hit Chris on the vlog.
- Katrina's son is being badly bullied so she's decided she's home educating him.

Hi Steve 👋 I hope Mummy Groomer is ready for when her poor baby boy returns home because he will need lots of bitty and cuddles to help his poorly mouth.

Those kids must be so fed up. Hours cooped up in a van, dirty insufficient clothing for the weather, no stimulation for their bodies or minds.

He’s right, you know - just took Mrs Conkers down to the local pub for a quick drink, which would be massively out of Creepy’s ‘comfort zone’, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Took Mrs Conkers down the pub? Surely you mean you went on a top secret mission?

DRIVING TO NORDKAPP IN THE WINTER (ATTEMPT 2) | WINTER VAN LIFE NORWAY

Leeeeeeeeeeeetssssss goooooooooo!!! Time to do the rundown of this absolute banger my G's.

Day 1
Quote about the biggest risks yielding the biggest rewards. So what rewards did grooming teenagers bring you Creepstopher? Lazy says today might be the biggest fail of their lives. They had the warning and decided not to take it. There were a lot of van lifers parked up last night and one was waiting to go to NordKapp, the most northerly point in mainland Europe. Wrong. The vanlifers have gone. The forecast isn’t amazing but not storms. It was the wind making the drive difficult. The Inghams woke up in high spirits. If the other van lifers are doing it, they’re doing it. Creepstopher was disappointed they had to turn back. They’ve agreed the first sign of bad weather will make them turn around. Isla starts squealing at the mention of Finland. They need to head to the supermarket to stock up. Driving.

The barriers are up. Lazy feels like they’re on top of the world. The lorries are terrifying. She imagines living there. Creepstopher wishes he could use the drone. Drone footage from a different vlog. Lazy films as Creepstopher drives past. 10 minutes to go and the weather changes. Snow is blowing towards the van. Bad weather but no sign of them turning back. The tyres are doing well but there have been moments where they’ve skidded. Creepstopher slows down. They make it to the convoy meet barrier wooohooooo.

The drive was nice, beautiful and not scary at all. Jace shows Lazy a magic trick where he puts his hand in his pocket. Poor kid probably thinks he’ll be the next Stephen Mulhern. The road is no different to any other road they’ve been on. The drive was pleasant.

Day 2
Creepstopher eye fucks the snow at the top of the world. Manic laughing about the gate being open. They don’t know that when it’s open you don’t need a convoy to drive up to NordKapp. The weather is beautiful. He is glad they took the risk.

The snowplough is 15 minutes late and Lazy is frustrated. Driving and screeching. Lazy says it’s a bit scary. More driving. Visibility isn’t great further along and the white is disorienting. You can see more on camera. The view to the left makes Lazy feel sick. The view or 🤰🏻? Creepstopher says if you need to do one thing in your life it’s this. They reach the car park.

For anyone who is interested, it’s free to park but you need to buy a 320kr ticket per person for entry to the museum, theatre and gift shop. They didn’t buy the ticket because they just wanted to say they came and did it. They did their own research. More like they got Isla to do it and report back. They didn’t follow a convoy. They waited until 11:30am and two vans drove back down alone. Two workers arrived to go to the hut. The man said no convoy was needed. Six coaches were behind them. There are lots of vans. Lazy can see why a convoy is needed in winter but they’ve driven scarier roads.

Creepstopher says everyone looks beautiful. Gorgeous. He is glad they decided to bust it and wait it out. He feels good to be at the top of Europe in winter. There are so many cool vans and Creepstopher wants to take the 4x4 sprinter next to them home. He almost walks backwards into Mila. Lazy tells Jace to wait a second because she’s talking. She tells us Creepstopher likes to stroke the van and talk to it. He comforts the van and reassures it whenever they go on a trip where she isn’t needed.

Footage of Mila walking and the view. More Mila as Creepstopher growls at her. More scenery. Family photo. Creepstopher gang sign photo. Lazy shakes the polaroids.

Back in the van Creepstopher says that was one of the coolest things they’ve done. They’ve managed to make it to the top of Europe and fulfil their main goal of the trip. He was worried they wouldn’t be able to do it and accepted they wouldn’t be able to do it. There is a massive storm rolling in. It’s mad. Creepstopher wasn’t bothered about the museum. They’re starting the journey home. Lazy is excited to do an extra country and they have something cool planned for Finland.

Driving. Lazy voiceover “We set off and as the sun started to go down we gazed out of the window, taking in all the breathtaking sights that Norway had to offer.” Snow, snow oh and more snow. Yawn. Drone. Lazy “We were even lucky enough to capture the sight of Venus and Jupiter.” Aurora footage. It’s crazy that it’s moving and changing colours. Esme is on the roof of the van. Creepstopher says this is the best day in Norway ever. Creepstopher gives Isabelle a piggy back and Lazy is fine with it. She has no shoes on because she stole them as they’re easy to get on. Lazy “You can see it dancing through your eyes”. How else does she think we see? bleeping hell.

End of vlog

I love you van. Mwah. All my love, Christine.

Esme is my least favourite ingham kid, but her resting witch face was priceless today when lazy said they were going for it, those older kids are so over all this

After reading the comments on here am I right in thinking that they had to turn back after their 1st attempt as the roads were closed due to severe weather. They then decide to try again, get there the cameras are down for a couple of hours and they are waved through without a convoy in that illegal heap. Something smells a bit off to me could be wrong as I didn't know you could travel without being in a convoy especially as it was closed for a couple of days before they arrived..

twit in a hat, big spoilt brat

Simply cannot just die with last thread it MUST live on!! Unlike the Ingham Family youtube channel and The twit in a hat, bit spoilt brat who looks exactly that in the pics the lovely greencow has put on the run down - total respect for you being able to actually watch, never mind commentate on this ‘show’.

Correct.

Everything smells off with them. Literally and figuratively.

The more people pander to their ridiculous notion of ‘being famous’ the more risks they take.

Every time i watch a Mingham family travel vlog I thank my lucky stars I‘ve got a sensible dad who would never have put mine and my siblings’ lives at risk, like the twit in a Hat does. And I’m so grateful that my husband practically does a risk assessment before any of us walk down the stairs so there‘s no way he’d have had us trekking off through Scandinavia, in a banger of a van, for a 30 second photo opportunity.

Sometimes you have to be grateful for the little things in life, and being married to a sensible non- pedalo is one of them.

Something is coming... Sarah gave us a hint
It better very good because 8785 views at 22.50 UK time.
In fact it better be of the "Chris' hat flies off to reveal bald head' standard of exciting to improve this type of viewing figures.
