to start, did you know that hedgerows (which characterise the English countryside) can absorb lots of carbon dioxide and are really important for biodiversity? Or that the active ingredients in conventional chemical sunscreen are really bad for marine life?
a friend has gotten really into sewing her own clothes and they look magnificent. She’s learned so much about the environment through trying to make her own stuff sustainably.
