Ffyona was there on both visits and was quite pleasant, though she did say she doesn’t have any work done as it takes her a long time to recover from it which I think is very false!
She’s obviously made her money but flaunts it on insta way too much. Totally unrelatable to their followers.
What is the point of her rambling post on there today? Apart from to show off about her big house yet again.
Is she trying to say that photo is of her two daughters jumping into the pool at her house in Cheshire? Lol.

Wow that’s sort of mean to invite people to comment about that girl on such a large platform, especially being hypocritical by then saying no trolls allowed.

Long time lurker here too, normally just enjoy having a read but couldn’t ignore this one .. This is the tea.
The owner of the consultant clinic Ffyona McKeating (aka Fiona Robinson) runs all their social media. She deletes any comments she doesn’t like. She looks completely different in real life and edits her pics/videos in a way that rivals Lauren Goodger. She has some stories to bat off anyone who comments on her appearance (such as her family teased her as a child so #bekind - or she has had all these illnesses that affected her looks so #bekind) but the thing which has affected her looks is the procedures she’s had done. Which IMO is false advertising and is as bad as the celebs flogging their skinny coffees while Facetuning their waists to look smaller.
She is selling her inspirational life, amazing clinics and success online but it’s all filters, all rented rooms and reposted videos.
If anyone calls her out on anything on a site that isn’t her own she accuses them of being either a pissed off beautician, a rival doctor, or her ex husband!
She is not medically qualified. Her ex is a qualified doctor though. He has his own clinic up in Scotland somewhere, she actually got the idea to set up the CC from him.

My beef is that she is charging a fortune for work that’s not that great, misleading people about how many treatments they will need, saying the clinics book up and sell out months in advance (they don’t, before the pandemic I looked and there were always dates available same week). It’s all a con.

dont go to beautician injectors, but don’t be fooled by the CC hype either! It’s all bs and lies.
There I said it, change my mind.
I’ve been too CC many times. But you have to go through doctors and the second time I went it was. A swindle. They tried to get me to dissolve my lip filler wait a week even though the last doctor who done it was one of their supposed best Dr Melissa who I absolutely hated. She was very up herself. I refused and had to argue the point that they had done the work. Anyways I got away with it and redone my lip filler with Dr Rafael. But then he disappeared. So I then gave it one last chance all because of their social media and met the most amazing Dr.
The person I saw was amazing sadly she left and it took me a while to track her down and she practices up North but she’s worth seeing. Plus she is not overpriced .

CC are overpriced and every 6 months I had to top up my lips with them. Additionally I’ve read a few reviews online they make people get rid of their filler which is done elsewhere which is a bit of a con as within 6-9 months the fillers dissolved depending on your metabolism. Additionally I find the Instagram very unprofessional it’s always attacking people for bad fillers and naming and shaming people. I don’t think that’s right or fair.

There’s lots of doctors out there but if you are uncertain I would recommend CC for lips only. They are overpriced so be warned. Just do your research there’s lots of doctors but you want to see those who specialise in the face.
One thing I find interesting all the top doctors who were there have all left which I find strange.

Who was the Dr you saw who left and you rate highly? Shocking that they wanted you to dissolve filler that was done by one of their own..did they think you had been somewhere else?

Yes they claimed I went elsewhere. They have done that to a few people.
Whoever runs it gets the doctors and trains them with the existing doctors. Also they make out you live there looking with luscious lips. I look like I’ve had the worst lip job in the world. I look scary I have to take 4 days off work and once anaesthetic comes off I have to ice my lips every 15 minutes.
I
came back within less then 5 months. I was not having it. Literally I was enraged. Dr Raphael was just as amazing but he left.sad really. Dr Melissa is a no no. She’s smug and very up herself. I think she’s bestie with the owner.
Dr Natalie is who I see. She’s up north.

I usually lurk on threads but had to comment on this one.

I used to go to The Consultant Clinic a few years ago for various treatments. The owner Ffyona was rude everytime I came across her, and you routinely ended waiting 40 mins to an hour after your scheduled appointment time to be seen.

I saw a few different Drs there, one a female Dr (can’t remember her name) did my lips and had another Dr shadowing. Throughout the consultation and procedure it was like I was invisible, she was constantly talking and looking at this other Dr even whilst shoving the needle in my lips.

I’ve had my lips done for years and know what to expect but she didn’t listen to a word and it was so slap dash resulting in a quite a big lump of filler in my lip which wasn’t massaged properly.

A few months later time I tried to book an appointment with Dr Raph who I had seen previously. But I was told he’d ‘left aesthetics to go back to being a GP to spend more time with his family’. So I was offered an appointment with Dr Melissa, I accepted but I found her quite patronising and dismissive.

After that I was adamant I wasn’t going back to The CC so I started googling Dr led clinics and funnily enough Dr Raphs clinic came up! I couldn’t believed they’d lied. So I’ve been going to Dr Raph since, who is still excellent and all his staff are lovely

Personally I wouldnt recommend The CC, there work is good on the whole but even via email they were so rude. They’ve got too big for their boots and have hiked the prices up massively!
OMG I hated Dr Melissa too. She was so smug. Can you share Dr Raphael clinic please. I go to see Dr Natalie and she’s really far. I knew they lied about him.
I would really appreciate it if you could pass his details would mean the world to me.

Found his clinic. Thank you I did not know. I did not think to research. Prices are so much cheaper then CC

She’s a troll herself

Yawn, another post about the amazing 9 bedroom house in Cheshire with all the amazing pianos and stuff inside and the huge garden.
This is the epitome of everything Tattle is against right? I.e influencers Flaunting the results of the wealth they made by duping people.
I wonder if she really bought it or if it is rented and is smoke and mirrors like the rest of the CC

I can’t see, she blocked me when I commented that her post re molly mae wasn’t fair as she was opening up the floodgates for trolls!

I’ve never had anything done but decided to get lip filler a few years back after seeing their page. I got 1ml and was very clear about how subtle I wanted it.

Ffyona was there for my appointment and was lovely, very full on but quite liked it compared to some of the snarlers and mutes you get in other beauty places.

I will say organisation is up the wall, my first appointment was moved and my second one a year later she had double booked me, I moved it and something else happened and I just got my deposit back - couldn’t be arsed messing around. I was told a little swelling but my whole mouth blew up like a blowfish for 48 hours and I couldn’t leave the house!

There’s no doubt about it - it’s extortionate but honestly I wouldnt trust anywhere else -sausage lips, duck lips, hole lips, filler all sitting above your lip line just isn’t for me.

I’m yet to find anywhere else that does subtle as well, if I did though, I’d definitely jump ship, the prices are crazy.

I knew comments like that got deleted on their page as I’ve noticed it happen but didn’t realise people got blocked too!
Yeah literally deleted my commented and all the comments agreeing with it and everyone got blocked!

There are a lot of good doctors within Liverpool that do subtle well and don’t charge a fortune.

They’ve just become known as the best though, and to be fair the before and afters on their Instagram are amazing. They are good at social media (apart from the owner’s random showing off about her house/life)

I’ve been to the CC twice. Didn’t have a bad experience as such, but the results weren’t great and it was so expensive! I ended up with filler and the gummy smile Botox on my first visit.

Communication was fine but the treatment room isn’t the glitz and glamour it appears to be on insta.

Ffyona was there on both visits and was quite pleasant, though she did say she doesn’t have any work done as it takes her a long time to recover from it which I think is very false!

The reviews on pissed consumer are crazy! Worth looking at though I don’t know how much truth is actually in them.

She’s obviously made her money but flaunts it on insta way too much. Totally unrelatable to their followers.

I’m not regular with fillers so haven’t really shopped around for somewhere else since. I’m yet to find anything that looks as subtle as CC but just read the pissed consumer and from that it seems most pics are edited!

I have never been to them. Their attitude puts me off. I actually asked them for some information once as I was swayed by their pictures and the response I got was really rude so I did my research and went elsewhere.
Their before and afters look great! I’ve heard they are false but I can’t understand how they would actually get away with that?
I think it’s great that they help those that have been to beauticians with corrective work and they do the cleft pallet work too. I do really rate them for that. I just wish they’d be humble and honest and stop slagging people off!

I thought I’d add my two penneth to this discussion! I only recently found out about the terrible reviews the CC has been getting, and am pretty shocked as I have always had reasonably good experiences with them. I’ve been a patient of theirs for 2+ years - I actually have an appointment booked in to see them in early July when they reopen, but when I booked it I wasn’t aware that all the doctors I was familiar with have now moved on!!

I’ve been getting lip filler from various places for 8 years, and to be honest, from experience, the Consultant Clinic are very good a what they do - or used to be at least. That was why I went to them in the first place, because I’d had bad experiences with too many people (both beauticians and nurses / doctors) who either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t have an aesthetic eye. Both are very important obviously, but I think the importance of the latter is often overlooked. Just because someone is qualified to use fillers, doesn’t necessarily mean they have the eye for beauty and proportion necessary for an aesthetic artist.

It was mentioned by a few other users that they make you wait far beyond your appointment time - this was also my experience. There were a couple of occasions when I visited the clinic where I was left waiting for over an hour. Not the best if you’re working to a schedule, but honestly not dissimilar to my experience with other clinics. They often seem to leave you waiting for at least 20 minutes. The first time I went to CC, I saw Dr Joshua for lip filler - who is excellent btw, and such a lovely man. He, like many of the other ex CC staff, has since moved on and now has his own clinic in the same building (10 Harley Street!). I also saw Dr Natalie, Dr Sarah and Dr Josh on other occasions for cheek filler, botox & nose filler respectively - all very nice and I was very happy with the results (especially the nose filler, Dr Josh is so good at what he does).

Anyway, back to my first visit. Dr Josh recommended my previous filler should be dissolved, which had been done by other practitioners, so we could start again with a fresh slate. I was happy to do this and had anticipated it as my previous filler didn’t look great and had begun to migrate beyond my lip border. This took two separate sessions of injecting hyaluronidaise (very painful) to fully dissolve all the filler, spaced out over 2 weeks. I then came back on 2 separate occasions and had 1ml in my lips each time, with 6 weeks in between sessions. They do a full dental block and use a cannula, so you feel almost nothing. The downtime between appointment was annoying, almost 3 months to reach my goal, but I understood why it was necessary. My lips are already naturally full, and we agreed that any more than this would overwhelm my face.

On the second occasion, Dr James was also present, as well as Ffyona. Ffyona looks nothing like she does on Instagram, that much I can say. She’s quite an overbearing presence in person. I’d say this visit was my least favourite, since with Ffyona in the room Dr Josh and Dr James seemed distracted and they chatted and laughed amongst themselves, ignoring me completely. It was as if I wasn’t even in the room, despite the fact that they were sticking a cannula in my face, which I found unprofessional and rude. The focus should always be 100% on the client.

One thing I will say about CC is that the filler they use is superior to other clinics I have been to. There is method to their madness sometimes, and the reason they don’t use the same type of filler in the lips as other clinics is because some filler is more hydrophilic (such as Juvederm Smile) meaning it attracts water, which is one of the things that can cause it to migrate and lips to look swollen and duck-like. Also, I’m dubious about the people who had 1 ml of filler injected and thought it had ‘disappeared’ after a few weeks. I’m reality, 1ml of filler really isn’t very much. I don’t think many people who aren’t experienced with filler really understand this. It’s less that 0.17 of a teaspoon. Think of that, but divided between both of your lips. Once the swelling is settled, you really won’t see a huge difference in volume, which I think is why so many people seem to think their filler has disappeared after a couple of months. Firstly, you become accustomed to your new appearence, but secondly, 1ml is an incredibly subtle amount unless you have very thin lips to begin with - most people will not realise you have had anything done once the swelling has subsided. I agree with the assessment that most people need at least 2ml before they see a noticeable improvement. Bear in mind that the pictures you see on Instagram are usually taken immediately post procedure, so a lot of the plumpness is your body’s post inflammatory response.

In addition to this, from experience - filler lasts MUCH longer than the oft quoted ‘6-9 months’. When I first visited CC I hadn’t touched my lips for 3+ years and I still had filler build up in them, they looked more or less the same as they did when I first got them done, apart from the migration. I think this is one of the things that contributes to the overwhelming prevalence of the overfilled look we see everywhere today. It is very, very tempting to take the 6-9 months recommendation at face value and believe that you need to go back for a top up constantly. Less ethical places will just take your money and allow you to do this without giving you a reality check. This is how I got overfilled in the first place at other clinics. The Consultant Clinic, for all their problems, will never do this in good conscience, and I really believe this. They care too much about their reputation. However, who knows what the quality is like now all their best doctors have left.

I disagree with some people here, I think the work they do to call out unqualified beautician injectors in the UK is good and necessary. There are so many cowboys out there ruining people’s faces, and more than anything people need to be fully aware of the risks associated with going to someone who has no medical training. You are literally putting your life (and your face!) in their hands. Yes, CC is aggressive in their approach sometimes, but I can understand why they are so passionate, especially when they see the devastating effects it can have first-hand and are left to pick up the pieces. They also do a lot of good work for people with cleft palettes, which I believe they often do for free, something I think is admirable. However, I don’t agree with posts like the ones about Molly Mae. I think it’s quite unfair to use someone’s image as an example of bad work without first disguising their identity. It doesn’t matter how famous someone is, they’re still a human being with feelings.

I think I’ve sort of always been aware at a low level that their Instagram images are slightly doctored. Not excusing it, but they’re not the only ones that do this - Julie Horne is another. I think because everything always looks slightly too perfect (never any evidence of bruising for example, which even with the best injecting technique is not always 100% avoidable), but seeing the degree to which Ffyona edits her own features is worrisome.

Anyway, that’s my unbiased opinion on the subject! Apologies this was so long, lol! I think given everything I’ve read, until they begin to be more transparent and ethical, I don’t feel comfortable using the CC any more for my aesthetic work. I think I’m probably just going to take the hit to my finances and lose my deposit. I know Dr Sarah, Dr Ellie and Dr Melissa now have their own clinic after leaving CC and setting up together, so I may try to book with them instead. I only ever saw Dr Sarah, but I know from friends who saw Dr Ellie and Dr Melissa in particular that their work is excellent. I believe it was Dr Melissa who actually pioneered the CC lip technique and taught all the other CC doctors. CC still reposts her work all the time, despite the fact that she hasn’t worked there since the end of last year!

Do you know the name of their new clinic please?

I have been to the CC but their prices are very high, the office in Manchester is out the way and I didn't have the greatest experience there 😬

I had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic (shakes) and bruising so bad they had to send me away mid treatment and arrange for me to come back and complete it a week later....

Pretty sure her ex-husband has his own aesthetic business set up in the north west, after initially setting up the Consultant Clinic with Ffyona thinking she was a doctor 😬 that’s why there aren’t any actual consultants working there and it’s mainly dentists, he was a consultant doctor when it was set up lol

I have never posted on here, but I have to say I am shocked by the poor reviews of cc. I have been three times, once for my nose, then back for a top up and once for lips (as a model). Each time was with 3 different drs at the Harley street clinic and I was so impressed each time. They were professional, put me at ease, explained everything with no rush and asked for my consent when taking pictures. Just before lockdown I was booked in but was contacted the week before to say the dr needed to go in to isolation and could I move my appointment. I couldn’t so I asked for a refund of my deposit and that was done within a few days with no hassle. I am actually due to go back for my repeat procedures (it’s been a year) but since seeing the poor feedback I am thinking twice, despite having nothing bad to say from each time I have been.

I think you should ask to see the same Dr that you had the best experience with. If they no longer work there which is highly likely as majority have left. I would look elsewhere. Personally the doctors who were there from the beginning were the best.

Just seen this... Dr Josh used to work for them ☕

I’ve been a few times to them, always had a good result so can’t fault the Drs. However, their customer service has gone really downhill in my opinion, plus the prices just scream money grabbing. They go up every single time I look. They claim it’s competitive for work done by clinicians, but established doctors and dentists in the area are still considerably cheaper. I used to think the photos on insta were just really good, and just assumed my afters weren’t “good enough” to show (my lips go super lopsided and weird after the anaesthetic! 😂). However, after seeing how swollen they are after, there’s no way (in my own opinion) that anyone can have such a perfect after immediately post procedure. Dr Raph works opposite them in Liverpool now and on his insta his work looks good, but not flawless. His work that’s on the CC insta account looks way way better, which also added to my suspicions. Stupidly I had already booked in with them before I came to all of this 🙄

Ha yes he does. Him name is Grant McKeating and if you google him the uniform looks suspiciously like the CC uniform. I think a lot of the ideas for the CC were his, but he bailed out when he found out she didn’t have a medical degree. I read this on the pissedconsumer forum, dont know if anyone can verify? I Think it’s true though because when it got mentioned on there, a new member signed up and immediately started slaying the person who posted it calling them “Grant” - blatantly Ffyona/Fiona trying to discredit what the poster was saying by accusing them of being her bitter ex hubby. It really is overflowing with tea that thread, well worth a read 🤣
