Just as her employer, it would not be unreasonable to give Dan a small Christmas present- many bosses do that.
Yes but she could have wrapped them or put in a sealed gift bag for the family to open at home like normal present giving.

Lets hope that dressing gown is the correct size for Annalise or someone in her family is getting an extra gift. Nothing worse than being given an item of clothing that is too small.

I knew a bloke who thought that. In his head. Good provider, always came home at night. His wife eventually found him out. 25 years of marriage down the pan. Last I heard he was living in rented accommodation, surrounded by dirty washing & living on takeway pizza whilst she kept the house.
and dont forget the jewellery from the safe

I understand what you mean but nothing is black and white, they are complex people in their simplicity or simple people in their complexity
either way, they seem to contradict themselves and contradict your view of them therefore complex, they also come with complex structures around them, there are many shades of them, but once you recognize the pattern it becomes very simple, you can wait a bit to confirm if, it follows the pattern (some show the true colours sooner than others) and then nothing will surprise you, you just keep confirming and once other people notice the same behaviors and you can establish their credentials you know that you have arrived

to answer your question, yes genuine vulnerability but at the end aren't we all little vulnerable children who pretend to be adults?
some worth protecting some not, dont worry she will not suffer more that she made other people suffer already, so if you want life to be fair for a minute, let it take its course
Thank you for this reply. You are absolutely brilliant. I DO wish you were my friend IRL as you could educate me and show me who’s really who in my catalogue of ‘friends’ !

Your explanation has stretched my brain every which way but loose :). In reading your detailed description, I don’t feel too bad that I can’t immediately decide who she is / or how sorry to feel for her. It’s complex but as you say simplistic too 😂

No matter what, I have no doubt she’ll be laughing all the way to the Bank.

Christmas is so important for children....which Dan obviously has.
Fannying about wrapping stuff for adults in bespoke paper, with fancy bits and pieces on.....and the kids just get theirs chucked in a bag. Fumin.

@FrannyBee it isn't Clara who has the blog it's her two Dutch friend who worked for Stephanie and it's called something like Domaine Les Pierres but I don't know where the references to Stephanie are on there.

Oh dear oh dear, I have a horrible feeling that our dear SSB may be about to get mixed up with either a Very Unsuitable Person, or a Perfect Partner, depending on how you feel about her.

I need the help of my fellow tattle sleuths to either confirm or disprove my findings. This is what I have found, all in the public records on the internet.

1. From her FB page: Jillian Scott - lives in Upper Hutt, New Zealand.

2. From comments she has made on youtube: she is/was an accountant.

3. From linked.in for someone called Jillian Scott

?????????????

Do you think I have joined the dots correctly or have I been led astray. Can anyone help me as I do not want to cause problems for anyone (even if Jill Scott annoys the heck out of me!), but if I am right then I think Stephanie should know.

Absolutely. It’s hard to decipher if we are being played, especially after her inclusion of funeral-dress saga, to keep or not (let alone the unsuitable style of the dress ). I feel as you do, but then I watch her when she’s really putting it on and I think she’s beyond the pale.

The last time I saw what appeared to be any sort of authentic vulnerability was briefly as she sat on the floor before Christmas, clearly taking genuine pleasure wrapping presents. She looked so young and almost fragile.

I forget whom but someone else spotted it too and said ‘she looked about 12 years old’.
I totally thought that too at the time. There was absolute pleasure in wrapping the presents and I had one of my moments of giving her the benefit and thinking “ahh she’s not so bad” but it just doesn’t last long. It’s like she has a dual personality. Two faces. Two personas. The frumpy plain unselfconscious decent ok person then the Demanding Diva person and it’s really hard to marry the two.

I would maintain that they have that they have empathy, they know what tips you off, they just chose to not care

as one said you cannot make this up

Marie-Caroline leads LAM LHA’s European activities, focusing on transport security regulatory strategy and border security matters. Prior to joining LAM LHA, Marie-Caroline was Assistant Director with the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Brussels where she developed IATA’s position on EU legislation impacting the aviation sector, advocated on IATA member airlines’ behalf, and developed IATA security and travel facilitation strategies in Europe

was she their advisor on how to cross the borders during the pandemic? I am disappointed if proven true
And she was willingly filmed ignoring another country’s Covid guidelines? That is shocking.

Yes but she could have wrapped them or put in a sealed gift bag for the family to open at home like normal present giving.

For those who have not rolled out @FeatherBee 's post:

Earlier in this thread, I suggested that SSB would be unscrupulous with the tax legislation applicable to her new foundation. Well, it looks like Jill Scott can give her some advice in that regard (i.e. don't do it?):

Commissioner of Inland Revenue v Jillian Rosemarie Scott 5 April

Former chartered accountant Jillian Rosemarie Scott was sentenced to 6 months Community detention, 300 hours community work when she appeared in the Hamilton District Court on April 5. She was ordered to pay $53,000 in reparation which was on top of the $45,000 paid prior to sentencing.

Over a 6-year period, Scott and two of her brothers set up a complex scheme to evade taxes and obtain fraudulent refunds from Inland Revenue. They set up limited companies, charitable trusts and societies, which were then used to buy houses and claim GST refunds.

They also used the entities to make it look like they were making charitable donations and claimed charitable donation rebates. Altogether Jillian Scott claimed $101,366.00 and received $88,879.57 in various refunds. The charges against brothers Lindsay and Roger Scott have still to be heard.

I feel the same. The second I give her a chance, it’s exactly as you say, she’s back to full-throttle and infuriating me on every level.

I will have a go at explaining “front room”
Ordinary brits, working class, live in small houses roughly 2 up 2 down. Two main rooms on ground floor and two bedrooms above. Victorian/edwardian working class homes them maybe had a kitchen attatched to the rear and beyond the kitchen then could be added a toilet/bathroom. The ground floor room at the rear, by the kitchen, is the household’s main living room. Mainly because it could be kept warm. The room at the front of the house, the front room, is only used for best when visitors came who were not close friends or family.
So the term “front room” is only used by those of working class. Of course that way of living no longer applies with the advent of central heating and most older houses renovated and converted.
I use that term as both my mother and my grandmother had front rooms so I was brought up with it.
I was brought up in a very large Georgian house by a well educated non-working class family and we still called one particular room the front room, but I get what you are saying

I love Dr. Grande ! Did you see his Xmas videos?
I dont think @Heathcliffe watches his videos, he spends his precious time with LOTLL

I didnt see them either, I watched few of his, to see what he is about, some things he speaks about a a bit more complex but well he cannot read the whole book there either
but I am glad that people get the general idea and can recognize certain patters and then maybe seek help for themselves or others

for narc topis the best to describe every possible outcome and type is Dr. Ramani
and for general psychiatry Dr Tracy Marks
it is good source where to start if one is curious or is in a need of help

I studied sociology and psychology for several years at uni but research is still evolving

maybe she could have used a daddy's wrapping paper?

That genuine pleasure didn’t extend to wrapping the children’s presents though - because their opinion doesn’t matter....they can’t do anything for her. And there is the “tell”.
