Previously on tattle:
SJ is flailing around doing nothing,
PhiPhi is rescuing infested woodland creatures,
DTM is barely keeping his offspring alive,
Nutty and AnnMarie are getting cozier by the day,
Josie is slaying all of them bi*ches left and right,
Kirsty is the bestest of them all,
Multiple Ians are missing,
Peachicks are still living,
and Gerry is contrabanding drag-worthy shoes,
And while all of that is happening... surprisingly, Marie is thriving and doing actual work?
Painting and decorating and furnishing her home, (actually doing it herself!!!)
Doing floral projects,
and exchanging love-pictures with Haworth's local businesses on IG....
I say good for you girl!

Oh my word, what an emotional day it's been! A surprise concert by the whole school and even FaceTime messages from colleagues and children who are isolating at home. Some wonderful gifts (my colleagues know me so very well and found something I had wanted for such a long time and never mentioned to anyone), flowers, cards, letters from parents and former pupils and a mound of drawings, poems, etc. If I escape Covid next week, it'll be a bloody miracle - I've been swamped with hugs from children. I've been sitting reading a beautiful leather bound book containing messages and memories from every single pupil and adult at school. One of them was from an 11 year old who mentioned a memory from when he was 5 years old. I had forgotten about it - in truth nothing out of the ordinary to me but it made me think that we never know how much impact our relationships can have in ways that we cannot imagine.
