Trouble in paradise! Cuz has had it with them and let his rottweiler deal with them...and she say "NO"!!! Cuz will be gone soon enough. No money is worth being bossed around by 2 blithering idiots. He'll be as pissed off as we are at her grifting.

Actually the way that The Nutzi said no, so quietly, without drama said so much more than causing a scene. My son, the boy, has admitted that when he was younger and I went quiet and spoke in a soothing, but menacing, tone he knew he was in for it. That he had seriously fucked up. He always backed down and backed away. I think that The Nutzti tone told them there would be no brokering of a deal here and that their backing down and letting it go was the very best they would get out of it.

For that I say kudos to Natalia. She is currently holding all the cards!

It's such a pity you didn't buy that beautiful white console from the antique shop (I think it's in Louis XVI style, but from the 19th century). I believe it might be a good idea to consider lighter tones when choosing furniture for the grand salon. I was inspired by the Chateau de Vaux- their grand salon has a stunning crescent-shaped sofa in Louis XVI style, a curved, elegant form of classic and luxurious design. With a piano and a harp in the same room, the space feels refined and timeless.

Does Philip ever do any work on the chateau ?. I only ever seem to see him setting tables and buying antiques.

Chris is another of those treasures who Stephanie somehow manages to find. And who’d think he’s 54?

Exactly! That was the tone of someone who is telling it how it is and there is no room for negotiations. Nutzi holds Cruz’s balls… but she also cares for him clearly.

I think cuz is seriously having trouble coping with all the demand from Despicable Duo. I believe others here are on the money that Fanny is the one stopping the work from moving forward. There is no way so many vendors come to work at the shatto and they are all slow and don’t finish their work. The common denominator is the fraudster and her squirrel companion. The more they drag the work, the less they have to spend on the construction costs and more they have left to shop and shop and shop.

Not that I care for Nutzi and Cuz, but good for them to finally grow some sort of spine!

I truly hope people listen to this
Yes artisans working for months...Mmm another deception by Fanny. She thinks making things look as if they take forever will help keep her coffers full. Why don't these people see thru her?
. Red van Fanny. More patron money down the drain. Two diggers never used. I hope the well is running dry.Example now...why is the gate not finished and where are the workers ? Are they on holiday, not paid??

Loved the comment from someone telling Fanny that com moddde is not 18th century !
It would not be difficult to see the joints on the drawers were just stuck together no proper dovetail.
I guess the kidiot is not on that chapter of his picture book armchair architect.

Hotel des Ventes. The generic name for auction house in France. Every town has one.
And Snorty has signed up with every bloody one of them. Honestly there isn’t enough hours in the day to sit glued to a computer scouring, bidding and buying overpriced crap at every damn auction house across France, the U.K. and anywhere Snorty can travel in Europe. Fanny, it’s not a hobby, it’s a boring addiction!

My take on the no is.....

That console requires fixing.
He who can file a perfect nail, wanted it put at top of the stairs and it needed to be fixed.
As Amoury has had to do many times before, fix tat auction finds so it can be used.
It had been carried to it's new position and they were told no Amoury can fix it for two weeks.

The picture book designers look was classic.

I get the feeling he isn't ever going to fix it. It will be Chris's next job.

Bens gone thankfully, he is the one who is going to be set up for the next failure.
Poor guy had to help hang pictures and do wiring plan by the schoolboy drawer, 46 sockets in one kitchen.

My take on the console is Amuary (nor the construction team) want any crap, let alone a stupid display, sitting on top of the scaffolding. That console, with a marble top, would only add additional weight and make it even more dangerous to work below, but we all know Fanny has no concept of health and safety - she just wants things to be pretty!

Isn’t it interesting that she never showed removal of the main floor Grand Salon’s ceiling i.e. bedrooms floors?

How hygienic! The idiot is “cleaning” the new cutlery drawers with the dirty dusty nasty vacuum that has all the tit from the floors on it! 🤢
Then proceeds to put the washed cutlery inside it to be used later! How has no one died in this place yet?!!

Oh wait….

A third option is to get bespoke furniture made for specific places in the Chateau. Cheaper than antiques, but specifically sized to fit exactly in special locations. You should also work with a designer to create a layout for the grand salon. That way, you will have a detailed layout of the style, size and pieces plus their location. It will help guide you purchases. It is just a good idea to bring in a fresh set of eyes.

Unbelievable the ceiling is just unbelievable. I'm glad you explained how you budget the renovations at the chateau. I am also super excited you got more Patreons.

Lovely handles, but considered a mistake in culinary circles. Marie and others will catch their clothing & possibly apron on the end bits. When it happensxI promise not to say "I told you so."

It is true.. if giving a gift of omething sharp (knife, scissors, tool) you should include a coin, so it implies a sale instead of a gift of a potential weapon.

Just started watching . . . then I heard the theme music to Michael's channel (which always wakes up my anticipation for another great episode from Michael). I've been missing Michael's videos so much, since he hasn't posted a video for about 6 months. Then I hear his music . . . but on the wrong channel. It messes with my brain a little. Deep breath . . . I'll go back and finish watching this episode.
