While the Fleuries are of course Grade A grifters, they do have the redeeming feature of Benoit. He's funny, he's talented, his dedication to perfection is legendary, and his long suffering interactions with Phillip are hysterical. Carpenter wise, I'd choose Benoit over Amaury every time.
And he is a french local craftsman not an imported Brit

What a mammoth project. It will take a slew of workers to make that place habitable.
Dan will still be working on his ruin when his boys are finished with school!
It will be interesting to watch and see his progress. I will go in with an open mind until he has posted a few videos with more information.

Fanny and Selmar are on the thumbnail. How low can she go?
She is really trying anything to generate more subs and views.
Too bad SJ does not take the advice to ditch her 26-year-old and stop with the deceit.
Probably her mummy was smoothing everything out or...Hmm, perhaps she prefers Selmar over the current consort prince. Lure him back to the castle and...[let your imagination complete the rest lol!]

As for Dan's newly acquired RUINS, perhaps it was bought by channel 4, Princess S and cousin or anyone with money...He is ambitious, loves fame/money and too cunning to venture with this huge project without any backup person to finance it or get a handsome profit/loot!

I definitely think Billy Petherick is involved in some way with Dan's Crapeau Chateau.

Billy has the money to invest, he has the renovation skills and he owns a helluva lot of building equipment.

Also, on his daily vlog today he talks about a big surprise in his Sunday vlog, with someone we all know. Who could that be?

I think on Sunday we'll see him and Dan teaming up to renovate this crappy building.

More money than sense.
I hope not. Plus Billy is 4 hours away, not a very convenient commute.

you know...the best businesses sometimes start with a silly idea...after it became a succes all the people say...damn why didnt i think of that...

The plan can work...when you get people with skills enthousiastic...about the plan....it for sure can work..Dan can film it..and live from the views on YT...but it all starts or ends with getting enough skilled people in...i know there will be people who have skills and would like to take this project on...i think about retired engineers, architects...marketing, internet... etc..who want to set their teeth in it..have a nice time together and get things done...
I don't know... He will need a month to clean up the woods. Should start now before winter. Then check the walls and start with the roof. About 100000 € only for roof. Can he do it all by himself? When he couldn't even afford 60 euro to get some bricks delivered home? And he mentioned continuing with his own home. And still working at lalande? And vlogging? He acts like he has no kids to care for. Even if he is in no rush to finish it he still has to pay taxes and fees for it. He doesn't seem to plan to put some money aside for the kids? Like for drivers licence, college fund, anything? Probably doesn't even have any life insurance. I feel he is hiding something there...

Considering that you have to book months in advance and still queue for hours and then being rushed through the chateau I tend to believe people only go there to see Versailles without the crowd. Might actually be worth it.
i thought they only could see the grand trianon? its also worth a visit thats for sure...i have been there a few times...you have to visit the garden in summer...it also takes you a day...if you want to see it all...and another day visit in a less touristic time to visit the inside...you cant do it in one day...

Meanwhile in other news....I notice that Ms Fanny Four Flues was filming in Disneyland Paris...wouldn't it be awful if she had broken the rules again :D

imagine her visiting his shadoo and climbing through ruins in high heels
Now you see, this is what irritates me. You've posted a simple message and I'm confused. Are you referring to Phillipa or SJ when you mention high heels? They both wear high heels.... This gender bending amongst SJ's lot is giving me a toothache!

Le Baiseur, I think you're onto something big! It's not often one comes across an idea conveying such brilliance, it gives one the chills! Go for it. Do these come in pink?
I actually have pink ones ready to be assembled. Orange too.

Dan has gone into partnership with the Dentist from Turkey, who is roping in his Hair Transplant specialist brother.
It WILL become the go to place for the Chateauverse.
Gerry, Nic the Tree and Sadie are first on the teeth list.
Snorts first on the hair list.
Who will become the first sponsors, Oral B and L'Oreal ?

I have been this summer. It was hell. Don't think there is a less touristic time. 😢 I was as a teenager in 1990,too.But back then more interested in boys than in art. 😉 Was actually even in Disneyland, I believe Stephanie didn't even stay for the parade otherwise she would have shown it. I am certainly not a micky fan or a show or parade girl, I went because of my son (who found haunted house lame) , but even I enjoyed the parade at the end of the day. I guess she spent all the entrance money to have some fast food since at her age she would be sick for days if she tried any of those rides. Anyway, I can't see her waiting 2 hours in a line for a ride

Could it be that they broke up because of finances and not infidelity.
I have wondered this too. She was NOT happy about him wanting to buy expensive camera gear, so then he starts doing the daily vlogs, which I'm sure also meant more time away from the family ... that's right about the time we started seeing much less of Annalise ...

That's going to be Chateau de Breeze block .... is there such a thing as Art Deco breeze block?!!

Here’s an English translation from a FB page…
The beautiful time at Chaumont Castle, colorful 😍
At the beginning of the last century, Eugénie Bardet, a young singer from the municipality of Mainsat, "goes up" to Paris to make a career; if she does not find fame there, she meets a Russian industrialist who becomes her protector and makes him co Building the castle: equipped with furniture Luxurious, beautifully set gardens, the castle will know its glory hour for a decade; parties, receptions... These worldly things come at a cost and Eugénie Bardet can't continue this train of life for long.

In 1939, the building was leased to the OSCE, a humanitarian mutual aid organization of the Jewish community. Lotte Schwarz heads the institution and implements a new and active pedagogy there. La Creuse welcomed during the conflict approximately 3,000 Jews, including 1,000 children, to Chaumont.

In 1967, the castle was sold to J. -F. Mironnet, steward of Coco Chanel, and to his wife, ex-model. For a few years, he'll get back some of the past fasting and worldliness. Then it's forgetfulness and long periods of unemployment again. In February 1986, a fire destroyed the castle: now, only the walls, a portal and some charred elements inside remain.
Thank you so much

I’m still on page 39 of the last thread but can’t wait to catch up and see your comments after last night’s spectacle. 😆 🧛‍♂️

Also, a side note, I mentioned how much Fannys tissue box cover cost during the Framlington Mummies home flog and one of you linked a tissue box cover costing £150ish from a shop in Stow-on -the-Wold in the Cotswolds. Possibly @MRShavershamsdress or @Just Grift Wood?? Anyways with my fellow Tattlers in mind I went in said shop this week and took a photo of my husband holding the expensive item for your viewing pleasure 😁

Not me but I’m still disgusted by that price! I could manage that with a tissue box and some ModPodge! Hmmm…career change?!?

This makes a lot of sense ... and explains Billy's "I know what's coming" comment on Dan's vlog.
