So you have done the expected, and set up Patreon. Before you delete my comment, why not explain why you believe that others should be paying for refurbishing your house? I am sincerely interested in your response? Don’t you feel even slightly embarrassed or even ashamed by attempting to gouge “followers” of their money? However, I’m sure that there are those on that “nasty internet” who will help to finance your lifestyle. Or is it simply a matter of what your emotional intelligence is telling you to do?

Dearest chateau friends,

I have been exposed yet again to rich people trying to get internet strangers to enhance and pay for things that normal, not rich, people take care of on their own. I think it’s a bit much and don’t like it. In response, they have forced me to create my own post on tattle before someone else tries to steal my thoughts.

As you may know, YouTube’s Chateau Chat tries to shine a snarky flashlight on the nonsense of the chateauverse, but mostly Chateau Diaries, as a lot of the other chateau channels seem to have their stuff together, or at least try to. On Chateau Chat, I have three life goals I try to convey.

First: home. Because there is usually nothing new or special going on at the Chateau de Lalande, I have been chatting about the renovation going on at my house. It’s a 1950’s Florida ranch style house and the oldest house I’ve ever lived in. Having an old detached, fairly open to the elements laundry room is a bit of a hardship for this stay at home mom. An old carport that my car doesn’t fit into easily is also another bummer. My barrel tile roof is not a color I would have chosen and I’ll never be able to match my new two car garage roof to it, so I will have get a new one. Lots of contractors and tradesmen working together to complete a common goal. It truly is a beautiful thing.

Second: community. My South Florida neighborhood is desirable and the houses at the eastern end of my street are a bit expensive. My house is on the outskirts of this cute coastal enclave. After my house is fixed up on the outside, it should help everyone else’s property values go up. I think it will be one of the nicest houses to about 3/4 of the way down my street. So it’s a win-win for all. Having a better looking house to drive by on the way to and from their fancy places is always a plus.

Third: family. I am fairly certain that a lot of normal people have questions and concerns about the lack of progress happening at Lalande with all that money constantly coming in month after month. Lots of promises and big dreams, but no real results. Some people refer to the viewers that voice these normal observations as being trolls or haters, but I call them beautiful people and friends. Stephanie Jarvis has brought us all together, united in a search for truth and transparency.

The first is our creative and restoration journey to save and breathe life back into “Can Punxes” a beautiful but crumbling gem of a building. This is hugely complex (and slightly scary) not least because it is a protected building full of frescoes and hand painted walls and unique iron and stonework. This cannot just involve standard DIY but will need specialist conservators and craftspeople.

The second is to share our adventure of getting to know the local community and vibrant Catalan culture and ensuring that Can Punxes is part of life in the town again.

And the third is creating a community of lovely people so we can all support each other in whatever our own dreams are. There is a lot of nastiness on the web and people trying to drag others down. So we want to do something positive.

Patron Day - this week was supposed to be the deadline to RSVP, but Fanny has extended by a week.
Still drumming up attendees indicates the guest list is pretty thin. I'll be shocked if it's more than a 1 day affair.
I'm praying to the rain Gods.

In preparation of my own attendance I had a meeting yesterday evening with one of my close sources, who played the audio recording that was made of the incident with the Argentinian Bully and Selmar's elf girlfriend. It's dynamite and if I were Nutty, I would not be around anywhere near Patron Day.

I can’t answer most things without it being a guess on my part however I think SJ (hi SJ) is getting very uncomfortable with our presence. I will tell you that we are prepared to ask questions at the event… and not only our group but others that are attending are going to be doing the same. I would imagine that her family and friends will have her surrounded so they can shuffle her away. It’s ok though… she can’t be shuffled away from the tax department, etc. She has created a fine mess for herself. Also - SJ don’t forget to mail those checks (the full amounts listed on YouTube) to ALL of the charities you said you were supporting. Looks like you may have missed some. I am sure it was a mistake or of course - not your fault.

These privileged people and the narrow mindedness with which they divide the world never fail to amaze me. Yes, they want to do something positive, for themselves, for their own benefit. Whoever supports them in that endeavor will be labeled 'lovely', whoever dares to question their motives becomes an internet troll. Ollie and his (probably lovely) wife Camilla spend months literally planning this scheme, helped by his good friend Stephanie Jarvis who's succes has pushed them over the edge. They know what's coming, they know they will receive a lot of criticism here and yet they chose to expose their children to this lifestyle.I am appalled and disgusted by their recklessness.

From a gossipy view I totally understand, but let me assure you it was not a funny session and I was shocked to have to conclude that Selmar did not exaggerate when he spoke of Nutty's outrageous eruption. I always assumed it was sort of blown out of proportion event as it goes after passing the story on, but boy, she is really, really mean when angry.

OMG, your visit and the outcome - I am on such tenderhooks as to the results.
I would so love for you to have access to @Clara Burnett's associate's recording of Nutty's vicious rant/attack on S&T in order to question SJ's response.
I know, not do-able and obviously, not your coup, but God alone only knows, it would be sensational! AND, the look on SJ's face would be YT gold - it would go viral!

The person that possesses the recoding currently has every intention to make it public at some point. He/she is strategizing for maximum effect, so it will not only expose the Argentinian Bully (and she will be exposed by it for sure) but also Stephanie Jarvis, who is knowingly and willingly covering for her, allowing the behavior to go on and on. I offered to help and gave some suggestions as to how to further increase the impact and I think it's safe to say she will not know what hit her. However, I also advised caution as these things are delicate and have a tendency to come back to bite the whistleblower.

First of all, why is it that whenever something unfortunate happens or criticisms are made (rightly or wrongly) on the web, the first rally cry by defenders and, in this case, the Ollie's themselves, is "they're just jealous?". What, pray tell, are people jealous of? The fact that they take no shame in grifting, when it's clear they have more than enough money to buy a place like that? It's not jealousy that I feel, Mr. & Mrs. Ollie, it's disgust! I'm ashamed for you!

Secondly, and it's in the paragraph I did not copy, but they describe their mansion as a "crumbling gem". A crumbling gem to me is what's going on at Chateau de la Lande (not that I find it a "gem"). Crumbling is what I'd use to describe a building that has no heat, has visible signs of damp, one that looks like the entire side of the building is going to slide down into nothingness, taking it's overpriced paneling and wallpaper with it!

The Ollie's don't have a "crumbling" building....they just have a very large building that needs a lot of TLC that's going to cost a pretty penny to fix. Maybe I'll change my mind about it being "crumbling" if they find out the termites are everywhere!

But right now, the only thing I see crumbling with the Ollie's is their integrity, if they ever had any.

-the flooring in the large room will be replaced with the tiles that Steve / Daddy created, now I don’t need to renovate or clean the kitchen, I’m saving so much money for the lake
-I’m ending Chateau Unwrapped and suggesting viewers donate to a local charity of their choice instead of constantly wasting their money sending me garbage. Except if they really want me to have something that I hinted about or is very, very expensive. For those gifts I will be starting a separate exclusive gift opening YouTube channel with Oliver, titled “Gift Gobbler”.

The house is beautiful, but definitely an expensive fixer-upper. I'm actually glad they're hiring professionals for the help they need.
Them trying to be a comedic duo à la The Fleuries or be like La Jarvis is so cringe.
The timeline was odd. Where were they sleeping before they got the house?
Also, I find it irksome to watch them flaunt a Birkin bag and Hermès tie all while they've set up a Patreon.
