Good evening friends! I haven't got a clue what is going on at the Chateau these days, but I gather from here that there is a girl called Stuart?! I must check that one out, but sadly I am about to head off out with the trouble & strife, so it shall have to wait. I just had to tell you this, - my wife watches a period drama called Bridgerton (most odd from what I can see) and I have just caught glimpses of it when giving her orders,- and lo and behold,- suddenly I see CLARA! I could not help myself but saying "Oh but it is Clara!" and my wife told me that she was not Clara but Penelope. (My wife has still not found Tattle, and she can keep well away.) I know Clara when I see her. Have a wonderful evening, and cheers to new VIP's, welcome to the club you little tit I'll toast to you all from one of London's finer diners!

It's quite sad watching Pavlina sit amongst the excesses of consumerism knowing what is happening to the people of Ukraine and how they are losing everything. She may indeed only be left with what she brought with her to Lalande and others are not even that lucky.

And add to that that they are being tortured, grape, left naked on the road half burned, shot in the head with their hands tied behind their back, unwillingly forced to go to Russia, robbed, beaten, shelled, and any atrocity you can think of. Fairy- taling Pavlina is a no win situation. I think the only thing they should show is her asking for help for her country. I’m glad she’s safe. I’m glad she’s somewhere peaceful, but there is no way she is okay with what is happening. I’m upset as all hell and I’m not even from there. I have no connection to there other than my heart breaking for these people and the rage I feel toward those doing this to them.

I think if she had, there would already be doctors' appointments.
This is serious, a medical emergency. We are watching harm being done on video which we should be able to prevent.
Here is the mental health intake questionnaire all refugees like Pavlina should take. It would be very helpful if someone could post the French equivalent, if any.

Edited to add, France seems not to be doing too good a job with assisting Afghan refugees with mental health issues. I wonder if it would be different for Christian, white refugees? Who is the authority in Loire et Indre who would treat Pavlina? One person quoted in the story sounds just like Pavlina -- I'm here, but I'm not here. There's a hole in my heart.

In terms of French government mental health care available to Pavlina, I found this list of local mental health treatment centers. My French isn't good enough to tell which one would be the type described in the piece cited previously as city centers who deal with refugees, or PTSD specialists whose treatment could be underwritten.
I also read you have to live in France for three months before the govt subsidizes your treatment.
Perhaps some of our Francophones can help spell out a program of help/intervention for Pavlina.
