Decided to start a thread on her.
Think it's so strange how she lied about the breakup in that recent interview.

Also, wonder why she is not at NYFW? but posting at the gym in Dublin instead.
Has she walked any shows in the US or London or does she just do brown thomas?

Figure is gorgeous though you'd nearly be booking with stefan fuscot or whatever his name is

she struck me as someone who put her dogs first, even over herself, so i find it really odd that she moved country and just left them. I thought they were her whole world!

I agree! Although they are rescues and I guess maybe they wouldn't have been able for it?
It's a big change and it's a long flight.

I thought once she was a bit settled she would bring them over.

Personally, don't see her staying in the states much longer! She has virtually no career there like she doesn't post pictures from anything she works on like she always posted bts stuff in Germany etc

I think she is back for good. Did you see Ryan’s latest post about the dogs being “removed from his care”. She seems lost and a bit of a spoofer tbh.

I really used to like Thalia , she seemed so down to earth and cool and I loved how she rescued her dogs and brought attention to the plight of sighthounds in Ireland but I really couldn’t believe how she just left her dogs and fecked off to New York. And then coming home and taking the dogs off Ryan who had the decency to look after them so well while she was living it up in New York with not a care in the world . In the Good Glow podcast she has said she has left IMG so I’d say her New York days are numbered and someone said , I’ve not seen her in any shows. If she is going back to New York long term she should have left the dogs with Ryan instead of uprooting them, that’s not fair either.

I used to really like Thalia and the wholesome vibes but it absolutely awful what’s happened to the dogs. They were looked after by Ryan all this time and given the consistency and love they needed being rescues. I hope she’s not taking them back to improve people’s perception of her - if anything it actually makes her look worse.

So she's back for good according to her story.
She was "neglecting herself mentally and physically" aka she couldn't hack it in the big leagues.
She's old for a model now and even when she was younger she couldn't hack it.

She's a big fish in a small pond here and has never done well in a bigger market. Even Joanna Cooper has the steady ASOS gig when she moved to London.

Thalia has had so many articles about moving to London or New York to make it big it has to be mortifying to release that before it happens and then flop.

I agree with the dogs thing it's not fair on them at all. I don't follow Ryan and honestly never got the two of them together she is so much more attractive than him

Would love to know what happened in NY why she left her agency! All very cryptic how she talks on the podcast! Feel sorry for Ryan losing the dogs and her but they were obviously primarily her dogs!

Agencies drop models all the time for not performing well or booking.
I don't think it was a choice for her.
That being said, I have some friends who were signed w/img and they got dropped or left and the general sentiment was they aren't putting the resources behind the newer girls and they want the "names" or nepo babies.
Friend moved from IMG to another big name agency in NYC and got way more work bc her agent actually put her forwards for stuff

Like you're a model and you're complaining that you were asked to lose weight and get a trainer?

She doesn’t hang out with any of the Dublin insta crowd either i don’t think, I knew she used to be very friendly and lived with rob Kenny, but can’t think of anyone else she hangs out with

but I’d say she will give the insta hun life a go!

She is stunning!! She seemed mad about him though!! But yeah young free and single in NY

he used to be hottttt - i went to one of dance classes in london 11 years ago (gosh, didn't realise it was that long ago!) and he was absolutely gorgeous. I think he's had a rough time and has stopped taking care of his appearance. I suppose it didn't help getting dropped from DWTS and Thalia leaving him. I hope he still gets to see the dogs

Hmmm yeah I imagine the body standards if you wanna work in the industry over there are just insane. Like in Ireland she's elite looking but in NYC she's just another model... and modelling work can be gruelling too. Ideally you wanna do it when you're quite young. She definitely wouldn't be used to hussling.

Has she moved in with Erica Coady?

Do you think she would still care about Ryan? I'd say it's been ages but it's still SO odd how she said they were still together up until recently
