Is anyone surprised about this?
I thought after all the trouble a few years ago, with Vernon sending texts, that everything seemed well!
I wonder if Tess leaving Strictly has anything to do with it?

I’m only surprised it’s taken this long tbh. I’m a cynic, so after the whole thing with contacting other women, it seemed inevitable to me that they’d split at some point.

I just hope it is amicable and theyre friendly as in the public eye it will be hard.
I think it is brave to admit and split as many put up because theyre afraid, cant afford it.

Their younger child is 16. I think either they’ve been staying together for the kids or now the kids are oldet and they not busy parenting, Tess is working less and they’ve had to spend time alone together, they just realised they had very little in common any more except for the children and decided to split. It seems quite common when kids hit a certain age and they don’t need you as much anymore.

I think it’s quite common. If trust is broken, and you keep the relationship going for the sake of keeping your family together, and/ or hoping it will return to how it was - it can fester.
It must be especially difficult when it is all in the public eye. Some people are hard wired to keep a relationship going, no matter what (especially with children involved), but it is rarely as easy as hoped.

So many reference a solid marriage when someone cheats and they stay together. The trust is gone and it forces you to stay locked to save face morerhan you care to stay.
Then years later he gets back in touch with his affair. Theres u finished business there and itslikely been unhappy.
But then they have 2 children andzomwtimes that for es you to stay. I hope they can be amicable.
Tess is looking as gorgeous as ever so guys will swarm and ladies. I think Vernon will be private and not showy with girlfriends. I hope they stay friends.
