It's called January 1 cut out dairy, gluten, red meat, sugar and all the bad shit. It's been amazing I still once in a while have a tipple but everything else is gone. The biggest benefit is mental health wise.
Katie how did you cut out sugar and all the cravings!! I tried this weekend and failed miserably sigh I know this isn't Loz related but maybe she'll read this and want to live a healthier life!!

Also I agree I'm new to the Loz group and it's by far the nicest friendliest group of people, no bitching or bickering!!

It was hard at first but I started with oat milk and gluten free bread then just stopped having anything else in the house. It's easy because I live alone and the cats aren't arsed about sweeties. Worst thing was not having a glass of wine of an evening but now I do ten days between alcohol as well.

Im not flawless I had my shark week last week and devoured a half baguette from m and s. It's all just a learning process, every Sunday I have a walk and talk with myself and decide on my weeks goals (that makes me sound mad but yes) I also have a chart on my kitchen wall and I log all my food.

Also I'm so happy you feel loved and welcome here because that's what I want this wee place to be when I join in.

LOVE this goal walking, I love the sound of this!! I'm going to try 10-14 days in between drinks too and view that as a treat when I do have it! And log my food too, I need some self discipline!
I also live in Toronto if your sister needs anything

Oh love love love Toronto! I'm still crossing my fingers to fly out for Pride this year but think and know in my head it's going to be 2022. Just little steps as I have lost a stone and a half but before I started I was so unhealthy booze is a biggie! (Especially in Canada Booze is not cheap ) but I found bread was the biggest thing for me difference in my stomach was insane.

Not going to lie I walk and I talk into my phone but I'm talking to myself

(Was a Vancouver/Victoria baby for a long time)

Big Loz needs a nutritionist to help her stat! Maybe also her midwive will tell her off as she is at risk of diabetes .

BC is my favourite place in the world but I also lived in Alberta in Winter. Canada in Winter is a different beast to what we have here no one understands unless they have lived there what it is to hjave your eyelashes freeze

Also cut the bread out or buy a loaf and portion it off. I started with making two portion packages in cling wrap and freezing them .
